They add poison glands from trolls, toxin sacs from kraken and i suppose and herbs like nightshade that might grow in the mountains of asaheim.
Dont forget drinking contests work in reverse for space wolves, the goal is to drink so much that you over whelm your ability to filter out toxins and pass out first.

The Space Wolves have a mutation on their gene seed, like most non- Ultra Marine chapters. It could simply be their immunity to poision is weaker or non-existent making them able to ecome intoxiated.

I think some of the Space Wolf novels cover this. Its not the amount they can knock back but chugging ale fast enough to overwhelm their systems and get them hammered, some Blood Claws are depicted doing it I think.

They add an extract from a plant native to Fenris that neutralizes the Space Marine's ability to ignore poison.
On top of that, Fenrisian Ale is strong enough to kill a normal human(possably helped by the plant)

If a thread breaks the rules or needs moving, don't post in it telling the OP off; you only come across as rude and condescending, especially when instructing users to 'learn' things.
The least you could do is click the yellow triangle in the top right corner of the post and request for it to be moved to the correct forum; a moderator will respond and will make sure the poster knows they posted in the wrong forum.
The most you could do is find the thread yourself and link it as well as doing the above. You also don't have to be so blunt, a simple "Next time, please could you use the search function?" would suffice.
Telling the OP off is not a helpful contribution.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Simple..
The Space wolves drink a mixed cocktail of ..
"The Ragnarok and roll "
1/2 Promethium
1/2 Kraken urine
set on fire before consumption by a burning copy of the codex Astartes.
And while drinking, the space wolves genitals are smashed between two large stones.
oh yeah and garnished with a twist of lemon.

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."
Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

Well I think SOMETHING like this was described in William Kings "Space Wolf" too.
It said that despite all his advanced augmentations, Ragnar still felt the beer tasted extremely strong. This caught him off guard.

Well. I guess there are numerous things that make it possible for a Space Marine to feel like he can be affected, or even get drunk. They just involve high amounts of toxins and/or other substances lethal to normal men.
This is of course only if a normal man tries too much, but we already knew this.

From Prospero Burns, it sounds like they drink something based on some kind of hydrocarbon fuel, like kerosene or diesel or bunker oil, who knows. Just smelling that would intoxicate a normal human, drinking it would kill you, but marines would probably not just handle it, but digest it. In fact I always kind of assumed marines in the field subsisted on promethium in a pinch. It makes the supply lines that much easier to maintain, your soldiers and your tanks run on the same thing.

Hmm yes. A Space Marine can survive with minimal food for a much longer time as just a man(but not forever). I have not read Prospero Burns, but is it about Russ's Space Wolves raiding the Thousand Sons' homeworld in the Horus Heresy?
In Space Wolf, some Space Wolf initiates ARE mentioned to eat twigs or poisonous insects from the forest. Also, due to the Canis Helix ravaging inside the soldiers' heads, they need more food than other Marines, I guess.
