An alternate iyanden scheme I came up with - the client doesnt like the bright blue and yellow. I was going to add some chapter craftworld markings whatever to the robe but he decided against it.

He sent me this wood elf head that looked very wrong if used as is so i ended up moding it alot- sculpted the forehead gem and such.

That is a seriously impressive piece. What I wouldn't give to be able to paint like that.

That is stunning. The head swap works really well and the detail of the painting is superb.

Very nice. You have done some nice work there and changing the helmet detail was a good idea but the spike makes me go hmmmm?

True. Without the spike it was just a flat plate thing of metal sitting ontop of her hair, I wasnt too impressed with that either, I dont really understand the sculpt or maybe part of it was missing. I think the spike gives it a nice shape from the front view, not so great from the back.

Thinking about it now maybe what I should have done is cut off all her hair and sculpt in the back to make the helmet wrap around her head fully.

Nice work on the farseer. I especially like the blue-purple iridescence. For some reason it comes across in a more interesting way on fabric than on the "metal" of the wraithguard.

Also I appreciate that you didn't feel the need to spoil the model with bewbs.

Great job, I'm not a huge Eldar fan but you did very good.

I went through 10 cups or more of wash sprayed out of airbrush washing this. I tried washing it by brush at first but I couldn't cover the surface fast enough and the result wasn't good. I cant imagine attempting to paint this by hand. How does my airbrush work look?

Thanks. It was sent already assembled, he did a good job.
I put one layer of liquid green on the seams but it's not enough apparently. I could always milliput everything if someone would want to pay extra for that.

I really like it. Your airbrushing skills do in fact, pay the bills.

The only thing I'm not keen on, and it's only personal taste, I don't like the glowing muzzles, but other than that, a model turned up to 11. Well done, sir.

Amazing models, make me want to paint eldar!

1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!

The casting was not bad on this finecast. There was just some bubbles and a missing thumb on his right hand to take care of. Nothing too major.

What do you think?
