Just finished it, green stuff is not yet solid but I wanted to share it with you. It contains various bits. You are welcome to ask and comment as you like.
For the model I used:
Main body, legs and head are one piece, though the left leg of the mini was cut and fitted to give a running move. I used for my base a forgeworld kakophoni model. Then the whole hood-robes is green stuff, though the loin cloth of the base model was kept. Bolt pistol armo consists of 4 pieces, arm with chaos bolt pistol, shoulder pad, hanging scroll, and weapon scope. The shoulder has a half cut skull face in its middle. The plasma arm is more complex, its made from 5 pieces, upper chaos arm, fabius bile hand plus half needler, astartes plasma pistol, scroll and shoulder pad. Backpack is from original cypher. It contains various bits and accessories, as 2 daggers from wood elves, grenades, some scrolls hanging from his belt which are from D.angels. I still miss the sword, but I m not sure yet, I ve found a B.templar sword with scabbard. I thing I will go for that and just wrap it with scrolls and stuff like cloth.

Really like how he turned out! Def look forward to seeing him all painted up!

I will paint him, but I will add the sword when I ll decide which one will do the job. Apart from that, I think I will go for black p.armor with green highlight edges, and a bone colour robe and hood. Probably hood will have some free hand on it. I ll start the model today and keep it up with photos so you can see its progress. Thanks again, for the comments.

These are with the armor dark parts painted and highlighted. I would like to hear your opinion on the heresy d.angels theme.

Haha sword is on its way flying at me. I ve bought seperately and I ll add it last. Paint it and then glue it on. Do you find the highlight extreme?

The highlight is indeed exteme cuz... I would have prefered a green as final colour...

I like the extreme highlight, it is something different and gives it a more chaosy or ghostlike look. He is a international man of mystery after all!

New photos. Robe almost complete, needs final highlight. I corrected the extreme highlight on the p.armor. I think it's more smooth now, blending better with the green-black. C&c welcome, enjoy!

Very nice, both in modelling and painting. I'd add some more shading rather than highlighting to the cloak and maybe some freehand, but other than that it's great.

I painted the edges of the robe with 50/50 white/bleached bone and i ll leave the free hand last as a finishing touch. I want to have a clear view of the whole model to decide what to do on the robe. Maybe something on the hood. Still waiting the sword bit, but it will be put last so that's not a problem. Apart from that the highlight looks better than before on the armor. New photos with more progress. Metal and bronze basecoated and washed, guns base coated and washed. Robe finished, missing final detail with dirt and freehand. Daggers basecoated and grenades too and washed. I ll finish the above and leave the face and scrolls last. After that I ll finish the robe and then the base. The sword still hasn't arrive yet and I ll paint it seperately and attach it last before varnishing the model. Enjoy. Would like some c&c!

Just an idea..it looks like he might be running up something to jump..maybe put a body under him?

Nice work, fits in well with the idea of Cypher and as previously stated, much better posing than the original GW model. Can't wait to see it fully complete with sword.

Cypher is awesome, and so is this model. Excellent.

They should use that as a sculpt.

I ll try to take better photos, more bright. But that's when i ll finish almost the whole model apart from sword and base.
I thought it would be nice to paint tonight, but nightlife in greece is awesome and i prefer to go out for some shots.

The DP looks great, I like the subtle conversion with the bird head.

A really nice, subtle conversion! I do think the Chaos shoulder pad was a bit much though, considering his fluff

Keep in mind, cypher takes places when he joins factions and armies and disguises himself so he can blend in.
So in my chaos forces, even in my renegade ig he must have a bit of chaos look. Thanks you sir!

I don't think there are post-heresy fallen. If I am remembering my fluff correctly, the DA changed their armour to dark green after the fall of Caliban (except ravenwing, which when the company was made kept the black armour). So, I think all of the fallen are in jet black armour (unless they altered it after all these millenia).

By the way, Cypher is looking good.
