Alright, I'm interested in seeing what you most fear when playing your specific army. By that I mean, what do you hat eto see facing you down across the table? I'm not talking about things you dislike/find cheesy/whatever, but rather what makes you go "Oh man...how am I gonna win this one?"

So, just state what army (or armies) you play and what scares you when using that army.

One of my main armies is Deathwing.

There is a whole lot that kills me, but I hate to see hordes more than anything else. I just know that even with absolutely perfect shooting I likely won't make a dent, particularly when I'm running Godhammer-heavy lists.

I play Ulthwe Eldar. More specifically a slight variation of the old Ulthwe Strike Force. That means I don't have many Serpents and I'm not spamming Guardian Jetbikes. Since I'm foot-slogging it, Orks. I can usually eke out a win, but when I have to suddenly deal with 4 squads of Boyz, and a squad of Nobz in my face Turn 2. I get worried.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

I've played guard for years, and, by far, my most consistent problem is monstrous creatures. Guard can take a boatload of plasma guns, and have had other options for handling them at even closer ranges, but most MC's, you've got to reach out to touch, and guard has traditionally been pretty terrible with long-range multi-shot weapons that are both good S and good Ap. Artillery just doesn't cut it.

Of course, we now have much cheaper executioners and plasma cannon sponsons on russes, so this will probably begin to fade.

After that, my most difficult problem with guards are drop-pod lists, or lists that can sort of resemble drop pod lists. Any army that can bring a lot of killing power and be able to focus it really well on just one spot makes problems for an army that, even in mech form, traditionally has terrible force concentration.

So I'm talking proper drop pod lists (especially BT), and DoA BA, and to only a slightly lesser extent DE. I'd say deathwing or bike lists, but those kinds of lists, while good at concentrating, rely a lot more on having better durability than having more killing power, which means they play more of a battle of attrition, which guard are pretty decent against.

In any case, I can count on one hand the number of times I've beaten DE, BA, and DT combined. Not that I necessarily see all that many of them, but when they're there, I know I'm up for a challenging game.

But you have a 5/6 chance of beating dangerous terrain! More if you have armor!

Tell me about it. My last game against Orks saw every Big Shoota getting 3 Wounds every time. Except the very first shooting of the game. He missed.

Hush now. We know the suffering you feel inside. How you must fight yourself as well as your foes that constantly crush you over their heel. Shh... for now we can all stay united. Just don't mind if tentacles brush you or tongues lick you, they are just trying to comfort you.

With my necrons it has to be anything with a 2up save or hordes.

Everything I say, barring quotes and researched information, is my personal opinion. Not fact.
