First, this forum is for displaying fully painted and based miniatures. I've already requested a move for you to one of the sub-forums where this should be.
Now then, that Marine looks really cool. Where did you get the bits?

the colours come from the movie ronin 47, they gonna be red and gold, with some parts in black.
depending on the kind of units.
as more gold as more powerfull the unit is.
im working on the dread, the scouts and the terminators.

Wales: Where the Men are Men and the sheep are Scared.
Looks great. Are you planning to give any sashimono? They are back banners that they wore to show allegiance rank etc so a general could pick out who was who in combat.
Automatically Appended Next Post: The colours remind me of the takeda samurai clan.
Their symbol was this
And their leader takeda shingen had similar armour to this
carlos13th yes they gonna have banners, the sergents in the tactics and every terminator.
i just finished the dread, i used a contemptor dread, the katana is from a gundam mech i bought in japan, seal from the stormraven, and the right hand does not exist so i made by myself, clonning the left one and using green stuff.
hope you guys enjoy.
soon i upload the termis
PD: for the tactis i used differents bits as kromlech one and puppetswars also some tau pads and a lot of green stuff to change posses.
thanks in advance

thanks again for the comments, i d like slipknotzim to share with me all you feelings even if some are bad ones, i need advises.
i think my greenstuff if you mean the clons i use instant mold, and i didnt really have a special technique i just copied what i saw in youtube tutorials and repeat over and over, if a clon looks good i keep the mold if not a make again hahaha thats it.
about bits, im a little upset about puppets wars because i saw their bits and i had the idea about marines and termis samurai, i bought the bits, i made them and just them, puppets war started to sell the same idea, different concept but same idea. gak happens.
and i just bought to them one time, and seriously im not really happy, i think miniatures game is a expensive hobbie, not a necesity, its like a luxury products, but if its expensive i expect quality, i live in spain and puppets are from poland, i was waiting 1,5 month to receive my order and i wrote them a lot throw facebook asking what happen with my order.
then i receive some missing heads and intead was other type, the katanas was bend (some) and with bubles (most) the banners was ok, and the magnets are awesome.
this is my experience, share urs and thanks again,
this guy, i like this guy, he has a samurai feel to him space samurai feel anyways, similar to the infinity guys but more space marine"ey"
Spoiler:
this guy looks awkward, there’s no movement to him i guess just kind of off, like he looks like he should be moving but isn’t, maybe a rotation of his torso or a rotation of his wrist to give the model some movement. thou i am not a fan of red epically bright red, his is well painted and the colors are nice and rich there’s a lot of solid paint men’s ship there, i would recommend some more powerful highlights thou as he has little detention on the larger more solid colors(for arm and legs for example.) where a more powerful high light would add some depth to him. i love cork basing so KUDOS.
Spoiler:
now this guy has movement to him, the stance looks powerful without over exerting himself, the model flows nicely the weapon is exaggerated without being over the top. this is what i think when you say space samurai and i love it, still not keen on the red but the model is fabulous.
Spoiler:
now this guy this is what being a space marine is about, its an arrogant stance a "come at me bro" looks and with a normal sized weapon it’s even more impressive giving that "i don’t need a big sword to beat you" look, now if you have more than a few of these kinds of look it gets dumb and boring but use sparingly this is solid work as well.
Spoiler:
again great use of motion here, the first model i mentioned motion in, he had a ridged stand still torso and legs but an aggressive sword positioning, it made him fell off, this guy is the opposite of that, his whole body is in motion the same way all focusing on the same movement and it makes a terrific model and one of them actually has a gun now so that’s nice too lol another great model.
Spoiler:
with the sword moved to the aggressive position but the body remaining static now this model just doesn’t feel right anymore he looks like he doesn’t know what to do with himself and its a shame cause there’s some great i mean fantastic green stuff at work here, but the positions throw it all outta whack, for me anyways a simple wrist turn so he is pointing the sword forward would fix this but as-is i liked it better with to sword down, he had a brooding leader looking onward looks, not he looks like he has a limp fist and is trying to hold off with the sword. and again the GS on this one is awesome
Spoiler:
ok i am grouping these guys largely they all look solid, again not a big red fan but its well coated the paint appears smooth, i would recommend again some highlights because its all 1 color, and maybe even a wash to darken it some to let some highlights be more noticeable, i also want to say that the guy who looks like he will be a bolter marine, he needs a sword, like he is an awesome "grunt" and he looks just different enough that it holds the army together, but he needs a sword you got to show love to the grunts of your force or it’s just not right lol. I hate to continue to hard on the static vs. movement but that’s the first thing I think when I see what I assume is a sergeant the guy with the head wrap, tilted sword forward or tilted way back so its resting on his shoulder. Or move arm up more and spin wrist so the sword is parallel with the ground almost like he’s blocking an incoming attack, that would have a “charge” feel to it without pointing it forward. Also and in closing, the first marine, it might be the light source from the cam, but he looks like he has the shading and highlighting on his gold EXACTLY what I am mentioning for the red, there’s some darker parts some lighter parts it flows very well excellent jobs. No while we are talking about him it looks like you made his stomach area and it looks off, he needs a plate to cover that kind of like the older MK armor, or some cables or something to take the focus off of the thin stomach you have now, just a simple plate or two would help this model immensely.
Spoiler:
onto this guy, i don’t like the sword, i believe in big swords but this is too much, its taller then he is, even the Gundam robot you showed us , that sword is as big as, but this thing is over the top of the Contemptor(using visual references so YMMV) but even if it’s not it’s still too big, a wider smaller sword would have done better(IMO) the pointing finger looks good model wise and the rest of the Contemptor has a good static movement to him, there’s no action in any of his parts save for the point and it works together well to give a nice static menacing look. And the colors are rich, wash and highlight would help same as others, gold works well, and the crest you made for him looks wonderful, it matches the theme and is subtle enough that if i didn’t know it i would have thought it was made that way. Still so very impressed with ur GS. The stance is good too with the raised leg very natural look for him. i would have liked a little more highlight and color on the sword but that’s my thought not a critic. i would also look into doing something with those large flat areas, this would be a great spot for like some free hand cherry tree of calligraphy, there are a lot of easy to follow freehand tree ones nothing super complex that would take away but simple curved lines for tree bases and spots for flowers would look serein in this army.
Spoiler:
first, thank you for taking that shoulder pad off of this minture, seconed great job with the coils it salved theat problema dn made the minture come togther, this was the first of you GS skills that impressed me alot. i love the armor modifications here, the bent forward claws give a sense of chargeing forward fearlessly, almost a wolverine esck stance. the basing thou too high for my tasste(it starts to effect gameplay if its more then two corks rows high) i cant say enough good things about it, THIS is the samuari marine army we all wanna see.
Spoiler:
THIS THIS IS WHAT PAYS THE BILLS!!!! lol, seriously thou i wanted to cover all these guys in one shot cause most of what i say applys to all of them, the contemptor looks great sword is perfect, not to big or small. the detailing is phenomenal, even from this distance, its understated allowing it all to blend together is this the same dreadnought from before, cause if it is, then KUDOs sir its much better. now onto the main event, those freakin sexy terminators. i love the nagatas they look perfect with heavy armor of the terminators, the entire group has good motion with a good mix of movement and static. the armor on all of them(you mentioned you made a mold) looks great they look aftermarket i cant see a major difference in any of them. i love these guys and it makes me hope you decide on a terminator troop army so i can see more. my only negative comment, is they need some kind of basing, given the rest of your corking basing i would say stick with that theme.
and lastly Puppets of war
Spoiler:
i ordered the Glaives and the samurai heads from them, ordered in feb.(same time as an order from anvil industry’s witch shipped out atleast a week ahead of puppets. ) it took i waan say a 3weeks maybe a month before i got annoyed and sent them an email and Facebook message asking where my stuff was, and they didn’t answer but sent me a shipped email thou that’s not what there shipping status on the site say but whatever. the glaives where so thin they snapped on me with even a little bit of pressure, they’re cartoonish compared to the models and honestly i don’t even like them on terminators, now the bushido heads, i love them they are great, and puppets threw in some extras of both the heads and the blades. so kudos. i would not recommend the glaives heads are ok, shipping is stupid long , shipping price cost over 7USD for a few ounces of plastic in bubble wrap. its a shame i didn’t have a better experience i was looking at the swords and the samurai rang they produced.

Subject: The Awaken Dragons (Samurai Space Marines) WIP ( update) ( samurai terminators squadron )
Hello again, first at all, thanks soooo much Slipknotzim for taking the time to answer me and comment every photo, i really apreciatte what you have done for me, i just came here for some advises and you really helped me.
i answer you some things, i think you are totally right, the red need some highlights but its my fault i uploaded the models without it, i sure was thinking to make on them i just was waiting to finish the 20 marines to do it all together.
about the gold highlights again my fault, the one marine you mean was the 1st i painted so i highlight the gold with some metal i need to do to the others.
about positions i really tried to make some fancy posses for everyone of them and by far this was the harder and took me like 4 months to build this 2 squadrons, i thought the one with the bandana was cool but i will find another torso or wrist posse thanks!!!!!
the sword of the dread the one you mean i made by myself and the other i took from gundam, so what im gonna do if put the sword you mean in the new dread i will make, because yes im planning doing another one contemptor too.
and the termis is my favourite miniature of this army, i invented everything and took the pads from the grey daimyo of taban miniature (amazing model) and the pad between legs from hiroki the samurai from tale of war (model i used to make mephiston) i had a problem in the part over the heads so i put some tubes and agaian a lott of greenstuff. the chest was made from the backpacks of kromlech.
about puppets, i think i wont order again, kromlech has much more interesting stuff.
thanks so much and i hope to upload photos soon.
PD: i made 20 marines
5 termiantors
1 mephiston
and put different logos and japanese letter and banners in 2 stormraven and 2 predators.
hope soon to upload more of this.
if you guys have ideas for the vehicles i apreciate
