Oh Father Nurgle, WHY AM I DOING THIS?! Am I bored? Well, not really. Maybe it's the lack of decent video games recently (Y U NO OUT YET, Witcher 3?

). Maybe I am too fond of Dan Abnett's "Titanicus". Maybe I just want myself a Warlord but don't want to wait till forgeworld finally makes one (and even then it will probably cost more then it's weight in platinum).

Besides, there are quite a few Warlords out there, but they all tend to be some variation on epic model, and I've never seen anyone attempt building the one from actual Apocalypse book:

I intend it to represent infamous Legio Invicta's Invictus Antagonistes, and as such there will (hopefully) be:

Plasma Destructor and Laser Blaster as primary.

Missile Launcher and Vulcan Mega-bolter as carapace.

Fully-detailed reactor compartment and bridge, with a tiny Pietor Gearhart in his amniotic casket.

Comments, critique and advice are, as always, highly appreciated.

The generator is looking good; if it's any indicator of what's to come, this is going to be awesome.

It's a mix of plasticard and polyurethane casting.

It has been a busy week, so just a little update - strange pipes from the sides of the shoulders and first parts of legs:

are you planning on making it have detachable parts or keep it as one big piece?

As it will be impossible to transport it without causing damage otherwise, I plan on making primary weapons and legs detachable.

Yet another scratchbuild-my-own-Warlord-Titan-looney.

I jest, this is actually looking quite good. Few have interior detail for anything but the head, so I'm liking where this is going right now. Hoping that the external chassis detailing also holds up the Forge World standards rather than a lot of the flat-panels we see in some scratchbuilds.
