I did check for an existing thread, apologies if one exists, but given we have a thread for the worst GW model, how about the best?

My money goes to the Voidraven Bomber - futuristic, sleek, curvy and yet very alien looking.

Orks: hard to choose. In terms of what you can do with it though the Battlewagon with upgrade kit is the big winner. So much vehicle conversion potential.

Harlequins: the troupe kit is, I would say, the best designed MPPK GW has ever done. The default poses are striking and cool-but the really amazing part is just how much cudtomizability was built into the parts. Someone with clippers and greenstuff can create any acrobatic pose they like with incredible ease.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

And honestly, most of the new Fantasy figurines from The End Times and AoS looks super awesome.

For Me Nagash takes the cake (except for the head of his staff)

Krell, Lord of Undeath and the Wight King are pretty sweet models too.

For me it's a tie between the Riptide or General Shadowsun (I like the one with the helm more than the one without it).

I just think this is what power armour should look like, it's not bulky but still looks imposing. I also just like the Stealth Suits Tau have, and this one is such a perfected looking version of them:

The best has to be Sammael. Great dynamic model, very baroque, gorgeous.

For forgeworld my favorite has always been the Elysian colonel with a power fist. Not some super monster demon but absolutely a dude not to be f-ed with. They really nailed the feeling with that one.

I am partial to Pedro Kantor's model, and this has nothing to do with me being a Crimson Fists player. He is part of the reason I play Crimson Fists, period.

Favorite models from the armies I play:
Dark Angels: Nephilim Jetfighter. So much better looking than the other Imperial flyers.
Khorne Daemonkin: Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage. Badass angry Daemon with an axe to grind!
Tau Empire: Toss-up between the Cadre Fireblade and the Railrifle Broadside suit. Fireblade's pose is suitable for a leader of the Fire Warriors, and the RailSide is pretty awesome when posed right (too bad they aren't that good in the game though )

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
