Regarding barrels - totally agree. I know people who are really frustrated about the barrels, but my client was not one of them
Maybe next commission will require me to drill some more

They look good. There's a couple of spots where the shading on the Dreadnought looks a bit strange to me, especially around the shoulders; I'm not sure if that's intended to be weathering?

Sure, those spots could use some extra care. The truth is that it's more visible on photos ( it blends more in reality ).

How did you make the tiny bullets on the bases?

I buy the shells made for WW II models. Those work fine for WH40K.
