I keep running into: "Oh I've never played against sisters of battle.", or "I played them once years ago."

So... I'm trying to get a better sample of numbers to see how common this is.

I played against a DE player who ran Sisters as an ally a few times. Not really a full on sisters army but it I think it counts.

I have seen one. So about 2002. Never played against them, because they are here as rare as Tyranids and Squats.

I play as Sisters, so technically almost all my games have Sisters in them.

11+ games, but the editions range from 5-7. So do you want me to vote 6 and later or 5 and earlier?

I have only ever heard legends of these so called sisters of battle. I keep reading about them but have never actually seen one in person let alone an army of them.

as far as I know: we have 3-4 local sisters players, all with pretty sizable forces.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I had a friend that played Sisters, but he mostly played them for the crazy other stuff that Codex: Witch Hunters had. Played probably a half-dozen or so games with him. He no longer plays. Met someone else in a game from far away, and he played Sisters thru and thru. Had two games against him. All pre-5th.

Post-5th, I saw a Sisters player last year with a gorgeous army in Parry Sound.

My best friend plays sisters, but has largely been out of the game recently. So 11+ in the 5th and earlier, but only a few after that.

One of my regular opponents back in 6th played them, it was a superbly painted army and I really enjoyed facing them. Lovely models, play very differently to most factions and always gave a good fight.

Not seen them since, though, which is a shame.

I own a sisters army so I loan it out often for others to play and I run them as allies often

Do you ever go into a fight thinking "there's no point giving it my best, I'll get another chance later?"

I play AS sisters regularly. So I suppose I've never actually played against them. I'll just vote for the other people

I've only ever SEEN them once in my stores display case. The models did not live up to their reputation I must say.

My regular opponent has a sizable sisters army, but they mainly act as allies nowadays. They can pack a punch.

Your poll is quite limiting... I've played against sisters the most during 5th edition, but also some after that.

I played against SoB for the first time just a week or two ago against a friend at the local club! They were surprisingly fun to play against, and he brought a lot of the cool looking units such as the Saint and those jetpack squads, a lot of melta sisters, a large squad of the chainsword weilding fanatics and their walkers! Best part of the game was the 2 walkers going two to two with a fresh squad of 3 Bullgryns, and the walkers should've easily Insta-Killed the bullgryns but made some lucky invuns and won the combat (Still lost the game though)! But one of the most fun armies I've played against (Definitely them and orks).

I play against them online once in awhile. Their list is pretty underwhelming against newer armies.
