Of course. But the other speculated thing is MOAR Space Marines. So there really is no winning for GW.

honestly I'd like to see boxes for mk 2-8 avaliable.
maybe do a mk 6 assault squad though for varity.
I could get on board with a Mk VI kit done up like the regular SM Assault Squad. Have it include the backpacks to have them be usable as plain Mk VI Tacticals, but primarily as Assault Marines.

MadCowCrazy wrote:Big question with that custodes box is what sort of Land Raider is included, just 1 variant or all 3?
Currently the best LR box to buy is the Deathwatch one as it includes all LR variants plus an extra Deathwatch Sprue.
It looks to be just the regular Land Raider. I wouldn't anticipate them getting the Crusader/Redeemer, much like how the Rhino is probably not a Razorback kit like the Deathwatch Transport.
Still, I plan on getting this boxed set for more Custodes and Sisters. I am going to make 5 Sword and Board Custodes, 5 Guardian Spear, and a set each of Bolter and Sword Silent Sisters. That way I can mix and match them as needed.

The main draw to me just seems to be the papers the whole lot comes with, because you can easily buy Custodes and Sisters for £28 and £18 on the internet new on sprue respectively.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing what else gets revealed.
Hopefully it at least comes with Custodes Transfers. But all things considered, the box is still a fairly good deal(for GW at least) at $165 USD.

Unless the terrain is plastic and the included models are new sculpts, count me out. If the terrain is plastic, I might just get it for some Scouts to add to my Blood Angels and some Orks to cut up for basing my Crimson Fists. But that is a stretch.

So it looks like it includes the crates and barrels from the Armored Containers terrain piece. I really like that giant servo skull spider thing. This will be a great addition to my existing terrain. The relay pipes have all sorts of connections to go with the ones in this set, which means it will work with my Haemotrope Reactors as well.
I am looking forward to the Newcromunda rules. Small games are great for me since I have limited time.

If it is really that cheap, I will be getting two copies. The terrain is great, and I could always use more Scouts. This would allow me to have two squads each of Sniper and chapter focused (Bolter for Crimson Fists and BP/CCW Blood Angels). Lots of Orks for basing, I guess.
If it comes with the rules for a ton of units, that would be awesome as well.

Awesome. Right in my price range. 2x $25 Scout Squads plus Ork Boyz (Read: Basing Material for Crimson Fists), makes the terrain about $75. Not bad at all. I can't wait to put it with my other Mechanicum terrain to simulate a Forge World.
Plus, Spider Claw.

Not to mention a codex sized rulebook and templates.
The spider automata is a nice bonus as well, could make for a fun alternate Mechanicus unit.
Oh for sure. If it is a good skirmish game, it might work well for short pick up games for my brothers and I at holidays.

Yeah, even with Frontline Gaming's 25% off, it is a bit much. Still, two Scout Squads that I sort of need anyway are included, so that drives the effective price down for me.

The pictures are far too jumbled.
There appears to be four kits total. The Ferratonic Furnace, Galvanic Magnavent, a Something-mite Stack, and Shadow War Armageddon (which includes all three of the previous kits, a Scout Squad, a Sniper Scout Squad, and Ork Boyz).

From the looks of the images (despite what the White Dwarf says), the walkways are actually the Galvanic Magnavent kit. Which means the boxed set has the Furnace, Stacks, and Magnavent. Not a bad deal. I am definitely getting one.

Pipes, VSG, and Haemotropes will all go well with this kit.
I will be using it with two manufactorums, a set or two of containers, a set of pipes, and a set of reactors on a 6x4 table. Hopefully that will provide sufficient terrain. I might add my craters on as well to represent the power depot being bombed.

Rules will probably be released digitally via iStore and the Black Library site.
I am not really bothered by Scouts. I would have liked a squad of Skitarii instead though. I wish Kasrkin were available in plastic, because I would totally put Kasrkin heads on Scouts instead of the Jarhead heads they normally include.

The fact the Scouts are conversions is disappointing since they look incredible. I didn't see up thread what the heads are from, but I want to decapitate all my existing scouts and give them those heads.

That is the Scout Bikers, which include several different heads in the kit. Darren Latham added the goggles from the Scouts with Sniper Rifles.
If I was better at sculpting, I would use the regular marine rebreathers and attach the goggles on them. Especially since I will be putting these Scouts with my Blood Angels (I have some mop-hair rebreathers heads from various kits). I mostly just don't want the jarhead bits.
