He's talking about Gangs of Stock Clearance... uhh... I mean Gangs of Commorragh.

that's only just out though, so even if support is planned beyond the WD harlequins stuff (and i'm certainly not saying it is) you can hardly expect anything yet. With the best will in the world, even popular board games from board game companies that do support stuff tend to have to wait a year for an expansion

Yeah I know, I am just wondering if there was any reason why one of the most Imperial factions have a design with some level of similarity to the ultimate enemy. Just struck me as a bit strange. I mean, if a friend of mine who was very left wing/liberal, etc. showed me a banner for his new political party and it was three quarters of a swastika, I'd probably recommend that he rethinks it.

Could be in reference to the number of sensei, children of the emperor/star child - not sure how many there are. Or it could be a reference to the number of shaman who sacrificed themselves to create the emperor - perhaps it was 600.

Every time I see that scenery, the better it looks. I can't wait.

Do we have an idea on price in USD yet? I might need two...

I think it depends on how much space we need to cover - a traditional Necromunda 4x4 or can we squeek by with a 3x3?

Fortunately there are a lot of other terrain kits that would go with this, so instead of buying two boxes you could add one or two other kits and get some variety with it. That is, at least, my plan.

Awesome. Right in my price range. 2x $25 Scout Squads plus Ork Boyz (Read: Basing Material for Crimson Fists), makes the terrain about $75. Not bad at all. I can't wait to put it with my other Mechanicum terrain to simulate a Forge World.

Plus, Spider Claw.

Me and my friend are splitting it and buying some wooden terrain to go with it.

We're space wolves included on the list of things you can use? My girlfriend wants to start with them.

Not to mention a codex sized rulebook and templates.

The spider automata is a nice bonus as well, could make for a fun alternate Mechanicus unit.

Oh for sure. If it is a good skirmish game, it might work well for short pick up games for my brothers and I at holidays.

The Thunder Warriors have a similar symbol. I'd guess it's some personal heraldry of the Emperor.

That's right. The Emperor's personal heraldic symbol was a symbol made of lightning bolts. It was later replaced by the Aquila after the Treaty of Mars. Presumably the Custodes have it because they are the Emperor's personal guard.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The trolling doesn't stop there! If you read the post in warhammer-community there's also this:

Shooting

Armour save modifiers. This topic comes up almost as often as Sisters of Battle… so we’re going to bring them back. Every weapon will have its place in your army and better represent how you imagine them working in your head.

That video is the best and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the box!

Plastic Thunderhawk, Square Bases, Sisters of Battle. They're listening to what people are talking about and can't help crack some gags at our expense. In a good way!

That giant skull crane looks looks so dumb...

Really this is just disappointing. If they'd gone for some cool, modular bulkhead stuff like the cities of death buildings, that'd have made the set worth buying alone.

Also, Armageddon would have been a damn good opportunity for finally some new plastic guard infantry, but nah.

Also managed Kingston on Thames with Ash and a few of the older crew before he got a position as a scenery master up at head office. I've really got to go up north and catch up.
