Hi all, so I finally got round to photographing my Patriarch (nightmare to work with as all celebs are) and I thought I'd post this as a separate thread, rather than confine it to the graveyard of obscurity. I will post a link on the old thread to this one. (Old link below)

I really love the way you used those lobster claws! and i like how the pose on the throne makes him look like he's thinkin' hard.

Thanks for the comments guys, really makes it feel worthwhile! The conversion was a nightmare to pull off - I wanted something resembling the old RT Patriarch, but I also wanted the throne to be mobile and wasn't sure whether to go for wholly organic or mechanical. In the end, I went for a bio-mechanical throne, using Carnifex and warrior limbs for the legs, and carnifex head and crushing claws. The ribcage was the most frustrating, because in its first iteration it didn't have one, and looked very awkward: just a bunch of legs stuck to a box. I made the ribcage out of chaos spawn appendages, sliced up horns from various sources and generally all things spiky. Dry-brushed well though.
