I wouldn't mind having that griffon. The Balrog is probably too big to be practical in KoW, I'll stick to their old one. The other two are just whatever.

I'm pretty sure, the point of every Bones KS is to have the molds made, and the first run pressed in China. Then the molds come Stateside, and Reaper makes additional models as needed

They never come stateside. I asked in the Reaper forums. They flatly said the only thing the produce in the US is their bases.. hence my mild derision.

If there's a feth off massive Roc in this pass, I could be in for something. I've seen it mentioned a few times in the request thread in the Reaper forum, so fingers crossed.

Zombie Dragon is cool, I may buy it as a display piece. Same for the Flying Turtle Dragon. The Griffon is outstanding, too. Would definitely like one of those for gaming or display.

Baba Yaga's hut... no. Don't like the design of the house. I get a "Disneyworld Haunted House" vibe off of it.

I can't wait to see what kind of terrain elements they do this time, plus in the time since the last KS, i've become a GM and can now actually get use out of bags full of random fantasy models, instead of just building Kings of War armies out of them. ;-)

As expected the core set is doing nothing for me. Waiting on the large monster add on's before deciding if I should get in on this.

Also shipping could be an issue for the EU. Given the typical delays with bones kickstarters I imagine brexit will be done before this ships, so will it really be EU friendly?

Is it wrong that I pledged $100 without looking at the video or what was included ?

Good to know I'm not the only one

After I posted that here I popped back over to KS to see what was included in the pledge. That's a pretty big dragon in the core pledge. I'm excited about all the monsters, and pretty ambivalent about the hero models.

Before backing, check the delivery date which is February of 2019. That is 1.5 years out

lol the only thing in the core set I'm interested in is the pig with the cart.. (wtf is wrong with me???)
EDIT: I tell you what though.. if you need a stereotypical longbearded wizard they have definitely got you covered..

I'm liking the mix for the core so far.

Doesn't seem as many hero figures to start with, but I like what I see- Dragonman duelist, wannabe Archaon chaos warrior, generic guard types, a pretty nice looking rat ogre, a big honking dragon, and that awesome pig cart.

I'll probably get a couple of extra crabs for Deep Wars as well.

The dice guys are a head scratcher though. I'm looking forward to seeing Super Dungeon SD style versions of some of their hero models as shown in the previews though.

The sculpts all seem pretty poor and basically like the fourth repeat of the same tired trope to me. How many hill giants and ogres and poorly sculpted townsfolk do people need?

Nothing in the core I desire atm, though I do like that cart. May have to just get some add-ons of what I want.
