Awsum! Love the look of the aged, yellowed crux terminatus, the older Assault Termies in the 2nd edition materials had aquilas and Cruxes of a very similar colour. It really sells the feel that the stone itself is a relic, instead of looking similar to normal rock. Keep up the good work, Brother!

Update on the captain. Its certainly been a fun model to paint, It still needs some tweaking. The DakkaDakka shop Destroyers have been a lot of fun to paint and made great alterantives to terminators (with some alternate heads, shoulder pads).

Where did you get those shields for the terminators? I love them and would love to steal that idea.

The shields are 3d prints, the stls are on cults I believe.

Well, with Arbaal coming back to warhammer in total war, I’ve been inspired to make this guy.

Thanks, I suspect it will be a while until I paint him, I think I need to get focused on one project at a time (joy of ADHD at times ).

Anyway, so I have a few things I want to do, first up is recreating my old 2nd ed Space Wolves army. Heres a Bloodclaw. After that I am working on getting my Khorne warriors of chaos finished.

Well finally I’ve managed to get my painting mojo back. First up is my old world chaos giant for my mono-khorne warriors of chaos army.

Next up is my new Khorne Lord my Old World Warriors of Chaos.

Oh that giant is nice. The skin texture is absolutely creepy!

Cheers mate, I wouldn’t normally use giants but I think he’s going to have to be slipped into my list now and I think he’s a massive improve on my old giant.

Currently I’m just reworking my chaos knights and then chaos warriors which now look a bit rubbish compared to my lord )who I’m also rather happy with). So once that’s all done just my dragon ogres to paint and my shaggoth to touch up and the army is finally done after sitting about for several years!

Little update on my chosen knights. I’ve mainly tweaked the cloaks, the boots and few other bits. Not perfect but better than before.

Next part of the old world army done now. Khorne spawn (nethehounds by avatars of war) and dragon ogres

Ya know, now you need to make movement trays to match :-)

Well I’m printing some Minotaurs atm, so I might make some print some tomorrow. I still have to redo the boots and capes on one unit of warriors and paint another block this week.

Well the front rank of the second unit of chaos warriors is done. Hopefully the army will have a unified grimdark look to it. I’ll have to patch up the first unit as I think my way of painting cloaks and boots had improved (and I was still trying to get into the habit of paining).

Aside some tweaking that’s 2500pts of Mono-khorne done.

I see those movement trays - already looking good even with just dark paint. Those minotaurs look especially bloody. Great job on them! Playing against them must be scary.

Already painted, I just didn’t see the point in posting of picture of them. I’m correction awaiting sone 1mm pip so I can replace the banners on my units with some I 3D printed yesterday

Making real progress on my mono-Khorne army.

I’ve been focusing on unifying the force visually — consistent basing, tightening the red/brass palette, and introducing flayed skin banners to break up the infantry blocks and lean harder into the old 5th ed Skulltakers of Khorne fluff for inspiration.

It’s starting to feel like a cohesive warhost rather than a collection of separate projects.
