For everyone who has a nearby Dollar-Tree this might be insightful.
1 - In their craft section, these hex mdf platforms would be perfect for a terrain project. Some stores have them some don't, they are all a bit different.

2 - They do not list the discounts on their site or in the store, but you can download their app that has a barcode scanner, and by scanning some items I found these discounted items for .25 Cents a piece.
These weapon kits from the Final Faction line can be good for kit bash. I know DrToys uses them in his builds.

Some more terrain pieces, and In the make-up section these sponges where .25 cents too.

I need those Hex pads! I'll be home for Christmas and can look, or maybe they're online somewhere.

Thanks!

Out of 3 stores that I go to, only 1 had it, and I picked the last ones. Wish you luck!

This thread should totally be sexed up as a “Discount Hunters” experience, with the thrilling exploits of our American cousins donning their gear and finding those amazing deals

Reality TV I think we could all get behind

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Like an (American Pickers) but instead of antiques there are piles of trash and rubbish hoarded for terrain lolz.
I remember watching a (toy-bash) video awhile back of, i think featuring (HEXBUG JUNKBOTS - Industrial Dumpster Assortment Kit) and was sadface when I realized those are sold in UK's pound store and are way overpriced online, otherwise I would of got some.
That is another reason why I like Tehnolog-robogear toys for conversion, they are dirt cheap for what they are (if ordered from the motherland) but also way overpriced online.
My goal in the hobby is to have something that looks really cool but is achieved as quickly and cheaply as possible.

I am just glad you can still buy something for a quarter.

Stopped by different dollar tree today.
These are also .25 cents

Masters of the Universe figures and various frames including these hex frames. I think its time to get back into terrain.
