For the record..

Yes i have sent the webmaster here at  webmaster@dakkadakka.com the intent I had to start posting here and i did not receive a reply stating i could not otherwise

and yes i am in the process of creating my banner to place here once my website becomes operational

 

And not trying to be difficult here either, but are you somehow associated in some official way with Dakka forums?

Do you always greet new posters with accusations of doing things underhanded?That may not be how you meant it but it comes across that way

have removed my post to not seem so harsh when i was uncalled for.

i got a bit carried away as normally folks state they have permission to post adverts (look up a recent post by the blue table guys iirc where they were bashed worse then this) thats all and the board has had a few unscrupilous people hijacking it recently.

personally i thought at the time this broke rule 3 - been an unrelated site (not dakka based or a sponsor) and most advertisers buy space etc to support the community, but that all seems like youve got it sorted/planned anyway.

sorry if i came across as harsh, wasnt intended to be but i just dont want to see our dakka turned in to a advertising free for all.

I have ordered several times from Rob and every experience has been top notch. He is prompt in emails/communications, he is flexible in payment options- you can call him with a credit card - as he has an actual brick and mortar establishment and just a heck of  a nice guy to deal with. On several occasions he has made special efforts to ship same day for me (in addition to everything else he has to attend to with a business). I would highly reccommend him to anyone thinking of making any gaming purchase.

I think this post looks fine to me. Assuming Robert plans on becoming an active member of the Dakka community then posting a single advertisment in the Swap Shop isn't really that different then when people post Ebay links. In fact, some people post ebay links more then once a week while Robert is has only one post about his business.

If you post a link in your signature to a webstore when you make unrelated forum posts it might be just as effective though. To be honest I'm very interested in your store- if you sell discount Rackham with only $5 shipping my life just may be complete

All this is a moot point, however, if Russ has even a slight objection.

and as far as i can tell i can get Rackham minis below retail and if thats true i can pass along the savings as well

i have calls in to my distributor just waiting on the cost to become set then ill be happy to take orders

I will be offering Rackham Games items at 20% off retail with free shipping to the US and 5.00 to Canada

I am trying to get a solid distributor to carry flames of war as well

if and when i can accomplish that i iwll post that update and the discount as well
