- 4th Edition Warhammer 40,000 rules will be used. Any disputes will be settled by the judge, whose word is final.
- Players may use only one standard Force Organization Chart to build an army list of no more than 1,500 points.
- These armies must come from a current, legal Warhammer 40,000 Codex or be one of the following army lists:
13th Company (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/spacewolves/gaming/13thcompany/default.htm); Lost and the Damned (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/chaosspacemarines/gaming/lostdamned_list/default.htm); Feral Orks (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/orks/gaming/feral_orks/default.htm); Speed Freeks (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/orks/gaming/kultofspeed/default.htm); or Kroot Mercenaries (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/tau/gaming/kroot_armylist/default.htm).  In addition, any Imperial Guard army may use any doctrine published in White Dwarf magazine (i.e. Abhuman doctrines, Swamp Fighters, etc.). All other army lists, Codexes (for example, the Eye of Terror] Codex), Chapter Approved lists, army variants, etc. are not permitted. (If you are uncertain of something’s legality, please contact us before the Tournament.)

- No Imperial Armor units or army lists (or any other Imperial Armour rules) may be used.

- Special Characters may be used (provided they fill all other requirements – i.e. they have to be legal in an army of 1,500 points).

- All models must be from Citadel, Games Workshop, Marauder or ForgeWorld, although substitutes for units that don’t exist are permitted.
- Players must bring everything needed for playing: dice; pens and/or pencils; measuring tapes/rulers; templates; rulebook; and all Codexes and other material related to your army.

 - Players must bring at least two copies of their army lists, one for the judge and one for general play. It is advisable to bring more than two copies.

Just to keep everyone up to date on what's happening, 8 slots of the 30 have been filled. It might seem like a long time until the early days of December but time flies by fast!

So be sure to send me a PM if you would like to participate.

In addition, there might also be a similar WFB tournament on the Sunday (that's December 2nd).

hi Stu-Rat

I know some people told me they would be more interested if you bumped it up to the 1850 - 2k point range. Good luck with your bash!

I'd come, but 8+ hours might be a little far to drive for a one-day tourney...

Then again, I drove ~20 hours for a one-day tournament run by the original Dakka crew... but I was much younger back in those days.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Thanks for posting it here. I would not have seen it otherwise. I've put my name in on y'alls site. Not too far for me to drive.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.
