Fate-Controlling Farseer

Ok, Combat is over, assualt has been won by my guys.  Lets say I had two squads to his 1.  He fails his leadership and is making a run for it.  We roll initiative to see if he gets away.  In my two squads, I have 2 differant initiatives.

So whose do I go off of?  The highest?  The Majority?  The squad that inflicted the winning wounds?  The rulebook only covers what to do if one unit is involved in combat.  Not two.  And again, to piggy back on Yakfaces situation.  What do you do if there is no clear majority?  Example, I have Asurman, then a Farseer and his 3 Warlocks.  Asurman has 3 wounds, Farseer has 3 wounds, Warlocks have 3 wounds.  No majority, all have differant Initiatives.

Our groups come up with this problem several differant times in the last few weeks, and we made a house rule going with the third option (the winning wounds), but I just wanted to see how you guys would resolve it.

Why not roll for both squads?

Yeah, I definitely see no reason you wouldn't roll per winning unit. In fact that's the only way to play it RAW as I see.

As for majority Initiative, thanks for pointing that out, I need to add it into the Dakka FAQ as one more "majority" question.

it doesnt matter which squad caused the winning wounds as it it all done simultaneous
the next phase arrives then you ake a moral check if you fail the morale check as you have here then you roll inititave.. as all 3 units were involved all 3 units roll.. it doesnt matter which squad did what your 2 squads get 2 rolls

thats how it is done

Utah (Oh god)

Both squads roll initiative if both are still in B2B contact would be my guess. That means double trouble for the loser.
