Howdy,

With the hype surrounding the release of Warhammer 7th Edition, I've gone and decided to start an Empire Army from Sylvania using the color scheme shown in US WD 290.  Before I get down to the meat and potates of the army, I want to go ahead and convert up a Lord- or Hero-level character for them first.  After flipping through US WD 320 and seeing Jeff Hall's High Elf Mage conversion, it seemed simple enough to use the same steps to go ahead and use the same components to convert up an Amethyst Wizard for that purpose.

But I've hit a slight hitch -- before I order the various spures mentioned, I want to try and confirm I'm indeed getting the components shown.  This hasn't been that hard with the High Elf Spearmen, High Elf Archer, or Wood Elf Glade Gaurd Spures as GW has most of them on their various online shop pages.  I do, however, run into a problem in trying to check on the High Elf Bolt Thrower spure -- GW doesn't show any of the spures in the box.  Just the art for the box.   So, I thought I would turn here.

Can anyone that has (or seen) the High Elf Bolt Thrower spure tell me if there is a hand holding a scroll on it?  I'd rather not buy the entire HE Bolt Thrower box if it doesn't.

Thanks!

There is a hand holding something that looks like a scroll, but it has a kind of weird end sticking out behind the hand.

If you're looking for a scroll, one made out of green stuff is relatively easy to make. Just be patient, take your time and use vaseline, water or spit (gross, but it works!) to keep the tools lubricated so they don't stick the the GS. I believe there is a rolled up scroll on the Mordheim accessory sprue was well, should you want to just model it on the figure, though I imagine you could cut it in half and fit it into a hand.
