With most of my miniatures en route to China while I'm parked here I've had to replace some units I thought I'd packed but did not.

Some bitz box finds and grab bags from battlewagons bitz have gotten me the Mk II Inquisition fire team.  (An =I= fire team is an Inquisitor with psycannon and 3 gun servitors with heavy bolters.  Sages and mystics are added to taste.)

The entire team assembles on a Pegasus Gothic Building (also a WIP)

Gun servitors, the wheels are supposed to be ammo drums. They look a bit big I'll see how the look painted before deciding whether or not to replace them.

Inquisition Storm Troops

Mystics and sage

The Inquisitor himself.

Hmm,  I already have Inquisitor Dakka and Inquisitor Smithy Wesson, what will he be?

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;

They look pretty cool, although I'd like to see the heavy bolter troopers with their right arm supporting the weapon. I'd also like to see some of those mold lines cleaned up.

Overall a very unique and interesting unit. I especially like the Inquisitor.

Where did you get the torsos for the servitors? I really think the drums are too large.

WRYYYYYYYYY!!!

The torsos are from the Brettonian squire plastics.

AAAHHH! MOLD LINES!

Seconding the "put arms on guns/alter ammo drums" sentiment,

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

I'm sorry, that building is made by a company called "Pegasus"?

thanks

I heart SYR 8766

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Mold lines, yeah, mold lines, #$%^ing mold lines. At this point I don't even notice them.

I think it's manufactured by IMEX and distributed in the US by Pegasus hobbies.  Available here:

I'm out of bret torsos or I'd try it now.

Seconding the "put arms on guns/alter ammo drums" sentiment,

Ammo drums are replaced by the ammo boxes from IG storm bolters.  Not going to put the arm supporting the gun, I like the idea of absurdly powerful cyber arms lifting a grossly oversized weapon.

I also realized I forgot a plasma gunner.  So I added this guy.

Yes the gun is larger than the rest of him.  It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Bodies from Bret Men at Arms (ordered through battlewagon bitz).  The Bret kit suffers because the arms join at the elbow rather than the shoulder and almost all the left arms are attached to shields.  From Battlewagon though you can order bodies and command squad arms which do not have sheilds.

Servitor heads are Cadians, arms are new terminators.

On the troopers the heads are from Empire militia, I had tons of them sitting around.  Not any more though...

Lasguns from catachans, I still have tons of them from my SWAT team project.

Needs less mould lines, more primer. Good illustration of versatility of GW's plastics. Creativity always nice to see. Makes me feel warm, like time mother tried to set me on fire.

Aye BW bitz is pretty helpful. I'm waiting for them to offer High Archer legs so I can do the Firebase Magazine cultist conversion.

Hot damn. Almost exactly.

I like your take better. It looks like you used the HE archer torso as well as the legs? Looks like it works a lot nicer than the cadian torso.

Add lasguns and wood elf hooded heads.

Bring on the evil cultists!

Thanks for digging out that pic. I appreciate you doing that.

Grrr... post got eaten.

Shorter form - those guys are HE archer legs and bodies, empire militia/white wolf heads and arms, 1:32 SMG, warzone autocannon and catachan bitz. I found the HE archers work as great coat troopers, they have shashes and shoulder straps that make good webgear. Oddly they come with 5 legs and onl 4 torsos though.

sorry for the necromancy but I have some painted pics and have done more with the gothic building mixing in some platformer chem plant stuff.

One addition was red wires connecting the guns to their backpacks.  The red is a bit off so I'll probably paint over them.

The angels are from a dollar store's wedding section mounted on wood dowels (another $1).  They need ink.
