I'd probably steer clear of using templar in the same format as the Black Templars, simply because everyone you play is going to be expecting to fight.... Black Templar's, rules wise. You could still use templar in your name, but I'd move the word to the beginning rather than the end, or do something creative with it. You could also hit the history books for other *Templaresque* orders existing at the time, the hospitalers, for example. There were smaller orders all over France and Italy, and some in Germany IIRC. With a little research, you might uncover a couple names to incorporate into your theme. There is also allot of fun reading about the order in Malta, the island the Templar insignia, the Maltese cross, is named after. Mind your search around that one, the Maltese cross, while not a swastika, is a symbol steeped in controversy due to it's appearance in WWII, so you never know what link may send you spiraling onto a hate site.
Have fun! I'm still poking around the books for a good name for that new codex eldar army I want. It will probably be spear, bike , and Prism heavy. Something to do with calvary I suppose would suit. Off to read Charlamagne!
