Can generic Marines use this sort of unit to good effect, in spite of the fact that by orthodox evaluation this unit is dross? I know I've questioned some dakkaite Raven Guard players on their love of Shrike's Wing, but obviously this is just the blue-armoured - non-scouting, non-infiltrating - equivalent. Are 60 point glorified Assault Marines worth a shot?

Unfortunately that unit is illegal. Terminator honors doesn't give armory access to basic marines. It only allows the specialists access and there's not enough of them to enable to whole squad to take jump packs.

You could take them as listed as a Veteran Assault Squad using traits, but they'd take up an Elite slot and wouldn't technically be a Command Squad (and cost may be different, couldn't be bothered to add it up).

Raven guard lead by Shrike and Shrike's wing. At around 500 pts, you won't have much to back them up, but on the charge they will wipeout standard marines and maul anything T5 and lower. However, they will be vastly outnumbered and all alone the first turn.
