I never said it looked bad, just that they should have made a plot and put it on that plot instead of running along the road edge and extends onto another potential plot

I agree, a public farm would be useful. Prehaps on that square of 4 plots where those crops are.
As not_u said, I made it as a tempoary farm last thursday, to grow extra wheat/sugar.

Yes, because if you build outside of suburbia you will be taken to the execution grounds and shot.
There are rules you know, and as a fully operating member of the dakka dakka minecraft server I'm sure noobbomb is ready to school you on them.
