this guy was converted back in '02 before the history and rules for iron hands were expanded...he is 22 different pieces taken from marines, chaos and inquisitor(54mm)...
 painted in '03...just want to show him around...

Wrong format, you need to use the html tags here. Crazy editor/board software doesn't take uBB/phpbb/vBulletin code. Takes a little geting used to! Just use Photobucket tags instead of Img, it'll do what ya want.

... except replace the [ with < and the ] with >. Also, if you want to direct link the pic into your post, try:

That is a nice model! Is the torso from anything special or is a proper Iron Hands part??

may i ask what you did with the bolter?
there seems to be a coil cover on the muzzle end,plasticard?

ok, here's a rundown on the conversion...started with a normal set off marine legs...carved the skull and banner from the front plate of the plastic dread...added a space wolf knife...the chest is an iron warrior chaos bit...the little speaker at the waist was covered with a cog i carved off the inquisitor scale techpriest...putiry seal is from the plastic dread kit...head is a veteran sgt...powerfist is from the chaos sprue with the exhaust and star carved away...star was replaced with the crux terminatus from the plastic dread...shoulder pads are from the land raider sprue...backpack is from the black library limited leonatus...and finally, the bolter is from the g.d. 1999 space marine captian...this guy was built five years ago when the chaos plastics, plastic dread, and inquisitor models were new...so to see all those bits thrown together to build this guy was cool for all the patrons of gw amsterdam, where my minis were on display...
 oh, and the bitz on the base are the head and spine from the necron destroyer, which was also new at the time...
