Howdy all.

Here is the master shaper for my current Kroot Merc army. Am very happy with the conversion and Paint work. Tis also my first attempt at using ink too (black ink wash).

Here he is... Master Krep Lack Abbadack!

Very cool kroot conversion, I really like the sword.  My only complaint on the painting would be the kroot's skin, looks a bit too dark (way have used to strong of an ink wash).  Show us some of your other kroot.

Thw white scars scimatar is great.

One thing you need to try doing is to do a bit of highlighting once you have finished inking. Its a learning process, but there are some places that simply cannot be skimped on when you use inks.

The skin and clothe, along with any other highly raised area with extremities need to have a minimal highlight.

You've done the impossible. Taken the worst Kroot model in history and actually turned it into something that looks somewhat decent! Well done good job!

The ink wash isn't bad and the overall effect is nice. However there needs to be some shading and or highlighting on this. At the moment the colours are very stark and strong. Also you really need to think about removing mould lines before priming. There is a very noticable mould line running down his hood that really draws attention away from how nice the conversion is.

Good work and very characterful. I liked it.
