Or, more to the truth, i just need the anvil itself Or something similar to strike.

So far this is what I have (there will be another of the same guards on the opposite corner by the way):

I'm stuck as to what to put on top of the cart/forge to use as an anvil. I thought of the "classic" anvil of doom, but not sure about size and whether it would be too big. Also thought of the Warmaster Anvil, but thought it might be too small.

As far as the platform, I'm going to finish it up by putting the dangly rune circles hanging all around the edge, but other than that and the anvil or maybe a striking plate of some kind, he's about done...

Any help appreciated!

Golden Demon standard?? I can barely paint Great Unclean One standard!

You could also try to scratch build something suitable. Insulation foam cut into an anvil shape, textured as stone and inscribed with dwarvish runes would work. I thought I had seen something similar in some dwarf terrain article but I can“t seem to find it right now.

As I stride knee deep through the dead, all is clear. I know what must be done...

Under the couch

I scratch-built mine using several appropriately-shaped pieces cut from a flying buttress on a CoD building sprue, with a little green stuff for detail and filling.
