Heya All;

Having seen my BattleFortress and Squiggoth during gaming at our local group this past Sunday, one of the IG players challenged me to build him a Cyclops. (He seems to think I am pretty good with the old plasticard).

Well I accepted his challenge and started work on the Cyclops at 9:30am today. Finished the build at 4:30pm today.

Let me know what you think...

There are a few 'flat areas' but I figured the 'new owner' would want to put his army markings somewhere on the tank.

looks pretty good.  I think the only area in which the model needs improvement is in the tracks, which are a bit too plain for an otherwise excelent scratch build.

You may want to consider a GS stamp to make a tread marking on the tracks you made, that would probably be the fastest way to jazz up the tracks.

Hm, it's pretty nice. Mine's a bit bigger.

Nice Agmamemnon 2. I tried to get mine as close to scale as possible, and when I did mine, I was working off the pencil drawing from the book, I didn't even know FW had one.

IronKing - The Cyclops is a radio controlled mini tank. One use. Fast Attack. Drive it into it's target and press the destruct button. Ordinance Blast Str 8 AP 2... Terminator Killer! (99% of the time anyway) Also a nice little LandRaider killer with it's 2D6 Armor Penetrating.

Yes, your 'giving' your opponent 35 points (70 points if your opponent finds and kills the controller. But it's worth it's points to take down a 200 point Termi squad.

Cool scratch builds. Using the Cyclops in games is fun.
