This is a list I'm running in our local campaign as a first time Wych army player:

ARCHITE  w/ agonizer, combat drugs, shadow field, trophey rack, splinter pistol, plasma grenades

9 WYCH RETINUE w/  succubus, agonizer, combat drugs, trophey rack, 2 blasters, wych weapons, plasma grenades, raider with disintigrater

10 WYCHES  w/ succubus, agonizer, combat drugs, wych weapons, 2 blasters, raider with dark lance

10 WYCHES as above without raider

10 WYCHES as above

10 WARRIORS w/ sybarite, webway  portal

10 WARRIORS as above

I've played these guys for a grand total of 2 games and did really well with them against a 1500 pt Death Guard army and a shooty 1500 pt. Emperor's Children army.

The Death Guard lord never got a chance to do anything, as he was off the table along with his retinue by turn 3.  In turns 4 and 5, the Wyches ate through a couple more squads and had pretty much stemmed the Nurgle advance.

The game against the Emperor's Children ended halfway through turn 6 as almost every Chaos marine had been eliminated.

In spite of this, I think I've just been lucky and there might be  better ways to do up my list.

Any suggestions along with the tactics behind them will be appreciated.

Something else I should have said earlier is that I plan on expanding this army out to 2,000 pts.
I'll do this with as close as I can get in 250 pt. increments, so for my 1500 pt army, I'm thinking of adding 2 more raiders. I'm fairly in the dark about what will work well after that, so if anyone with a Wych army they've run a bit can help, please just jump right in share your experience.

Your warrior squads could use some Lances, also why no warp beasts ?

You might also want to consider a lone Archon-guy.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...

These ideas are good, I would definitely add Dark Lances to the warriors (maybe bulk them out a bit more as well), raiders for the footslogging witches, and warp beasts are a great buy. After that I would suggest a couple Ravagers with 2 disintegrators. Also consider horrorfexes for all your raiders as they count as defensive weapons according to the faq, and so can be fired in addition to the regular gun.

In this army list, the warriors are mainly there to be suicide squads that get the webway gates set up. I run them forward to an area with as much cover as can be found and on turn 2 they get the gate set. By then, they're pretty much in rapid fire range of whoever they're against and get zapped pretty hard, and the dark lances would be just a points sink. I could bulk them up to make them more survivable, and would probably have to in bigger games to soak up the extra fire they'd recieve.
The extra raiders are definatly on deck for the next build up phase of my army, and the warp beasts could fit in there pretty well, also. In my normal Dark Eldar, warrior heavy army, the warp beasts have always paid their way. If I have the points for it, I'd like to try getting in at least one ravager.

Did you mean lone Archite instead of Archon?

Thanks for the advice, I'll be putting some of the ideas I've seen here to use fairly shortly.
