hey everyone...this is my first commission since i stopped painting for privateer in june...it was such a drag to miss a big deadline, that i put down the brushes for a few months...now i'm back at it...the customer wanted me to sculpt an oath stone that the thane could stand on in battle, but still be removable...he has two slightly off-set pins in his feet so he can stand on a regular base or the stone, but still be stable...eventually there will be a set of shieldbearers he can stand on as well...obviously the pics still need the light levels balanced in photoshop, but i'm still waitin' on that...
does anyone wanna see minis from other manufacturers, or is this spot only for gw minis???
cheers

I think the mini is cool if not a little static. I realise it is hard to get it to stnd soundly on the rock but perhaps the ap is a fraction big. Still, it is sweet overall and i love the way the face was painted.

Great work! Love the interchangability. Surprised you went with pins and not magnets, though.

This board is for modeling and painting. FOW, WM/Hordes, Conf., GW, Reaper--we love it all!

At least, I do...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
