My second gothic building is done.

Ingrediants include: Pegasus Gothic building kit, plasicard for the roofs, billboard and ledge, IMEX plaformer kit for some details, gargoyles from Michael's craft shop, domes from a plastic shop.

For scale I have converted Bret men at arms, a reaper flying brain thing and a superhero from silver age sentinels.

It's officially the Cox building, the name just leapt into my mind after I made the two ball domes and tall shaft.

Maybe the official name of the buildng is the "Astrolabe Protruda," and the locals call it the "Cox Building."

Neat. I've caught the Platformer and Pegasus bug from you, we built the Pegasus refinery yesterday. Their kits are totally worth it. Now I want to do some mixing and matching.

I find your building strangely aluring.....

Could we see some close ups of how you connected the plasticard to the building on the outside?

Roofs were just glued down with plastic cement.  The ledge was sandwiched between two lairs of gothic walls, held up by the braces included wiht the set and then reinforced with plasticard girders.

If I hadn't explained the name would you have gotten it?

Well, when i read the name 9before looking at the picture) I can tell you that it came to mind what it might look like.

I'd venture to say that most of us wouod have gotten the joke.

BTW, I like those gargoyles.

What section of Michaels were they in?

Gargoyles are in the Halloween section, I'm torn between buying more now ($5 for 5, not bad but not cheap) and waiting till they go on clearance (if there are any left).
