Vague math without seeing any interior shows i'll need ~ 3-4 double chests however thats probably REALLY low, I should be able to swing the stone and such, replacing the iron with white wool. Just I never afk-farmed a shitton of wool like I should have because it was always renewable, if worse comes to worse I'll build a huge wool farm near the site.

I'll join the server its on and take some screenshots to do real math at some point this week, today is laundry day so I'll have some spare time to get started.

That being said I would also appreciate if any long standing members that I trust would help me with the task of moving all my temple of terra materials to the build site from some of my various vaults. It also looks like I need some dirt too if anyone has a ton laying around, and I still need to find out who owns that sauser floating near my ocean.

Also, someone start working on an idea for warhound titans, I'd like to have two along with this one guarding the gates.

new skybox height is 256 right? (128 taller than before?

I'll trade iron ore for iron bars. I've got a zombie grinder, and I like the ore for it's look.

I tried to find a spot in the middle of the water both because nobody builds there, but also because I didn't want the shadow of the Eldar Craftisland spawning mobs underneath.


I'm unsure if Grundz has plans of expanding his place all the way across the ocean, but he has quite some distance to go.
Regardless, I won't expand in the directional line of Grundz's expansion if there is a problem.

the original plan was to have a large field leading to titans and the main temple which will be 4-6 times larger than the current "small" one, it shouldn't hit, but will be close to, his sauser I think

Where is the museum located anyways? As soon as I'm sufficent enough, I want to go on a server wide sight seeing trip. Looking over the map, there's a lot of awesome stuff to look at.

It is sign posted from Absolution's portal (Nether side).

Overworld side, it is in the middle of the ocean. Not sure on exact co-ords though.

One of these days, we're gonna need to just go through and completely fix up the Nether- signs and proper paths and everything. Those glass covered walkways just aren't cutting it- we need solid roofes.

Nothing major. Some things didn't translate well in the server reset, and there is some minor damage to some areas. It's also still incomplete.

I'd be willing to supply resources and/or labor to fix her back up.

I thought we went out of the way to make glass roofs. It offers protect but still gives a nice view, right?

Nether and Nice View don't exactly go together.

All true Avatar...still I like to be able to see where I am, even if the scenery is terrifying and not too varied.

Anything beats a straight tunnel though.

Not if it is essentially a shooting gallery for ghasts...

They can't see through glass if there aren't any holes. The real issue seems to be people not fixing the holes that crop up.

Ghasts can't see through glass or iron bars, so don't worry about it.

That's what the side walls and multiple textures are for.

The paths around my and Melisia's Nether route is pretty nice looking, if I do say so myself, using iron bar walls, Nether Brick 'moulding', cobble (or Netherbrick) Ceilings and either Netherbrick, Cobble or wood plank floors- all varied up, and designed in such a way as to have an interesting structure without any danger of Ghasts spotting you in a gap and blowing half the walkway up.

My single player game's chickens are breeding too fast (started off with four chickens, and all of these are from tossing eggs!), I should finally start culling them for meat.

I admit, I've been playing SP more than MP recently. Just don't have the wllpower to do any of the massive projects I'm doing on them...

So if you're going to make a walkway without a covering in the nether, build out of cobblestone. I'm not sure about other stone variants, but cobblestone was ghast-blast proof last I checked.

Also, it really should be covered. Glass, fences, iron bars, etc don't let ghasts see through, so it's better if you cover it somehow. I'm not a huge fan of wholesale slaughter.

To be fair, behind me in the camera is a pair of fence doors that I used at first, but chickens kept trying to escape every time I entered .

So I said feth it all and installed a ladder instead.
