Is my own project in that area as you can see by the excavation and crafting bench, and you would be building almost on-top of/under it, however depending on your exact plans I may be able to compromise with you.

Also, minecraft overviewer is like google maps, it's not an image.

Ah, well, I planned to build a small trading market and a few little house on top of the mountain, with a small Dwarf Village under it with a little keep.

Just made my way over to the Beanstalk, and the dwarfiness thereunder. There's now a few stacks of snow in a chest underneath. Whoever's doing that, let me know when you're usually on, and we can work on your caverns.

Dawi, what's wrong with my place? I'm reasonably close to spawn... and there's mountains just north of the woods, that could be used for your dwarf village (but be connected to my caverns fairly easily).

Also Darknit problem.
When we type zzzzz the server does not make it day. So essentially everyone is facing massive amounts of mobs. Already a few people have been killed be creepers and skele's in the past couple of minutes. XD. So to help everyone maybe we should implement the z's function so everyone doesn't die and we face mass extinction as some of the minecrafter's on our server are just builders.

Back in my day, we had to sleep to skip night...

As a location? The grey mountain seems pretty great, not to mention, it's close to the other caverns.

Yeah, and the woods between me and the mountain is unoccupied, I think.

I have a tunnel to my beanstalk already, mostly through one of the massive ravines under the lake, so I could easily enough extend it to the mountain.

Seriously though, there are some pretty cool places out there beyond the edges of the map. Also caves are all over the fething place, my property is lousey with them.

My advice is to get your walking shoes on and go find a huge fething hill.

Yeah right next to mine lol. I found massive mountains uninhabited I claimed a few places for future development.

My only problem is I want somewhere that's both on the map, and close to spawn.

In all seriousness though, spawn's not that great. It's overcrowded and there are far more interesting areas, both natural and man-made.

Beds act as spawn points. Make a bed, set it down, sleep, and you'll spawn there when you die.

Well...Hrm...I'm not very well equipped when it comes to normal survival, I normally only RP on my other server, and do creative. I guess I'll have to go exploring, then.

It's not that hard once you get used to it. You can always ask someone to get you started with resources. I'd be more than willing to give you some freebies and help you set up a base if you want.

Or you can come to me I have enough iron I can give you 32 iron and enough food to last you an entire month, seeds, and just about anything that is needed for a started (hell I even give out railroads for free. I have no use for them)

Dawi, while it isn't close to the spawn the elven tree city has some REAL nice mountains next to it
