I've posted a review of the Pig Iron Productions War Droid and War Droid Upgrade Packs on TGN link There are photos of one of the painted versions of the fig and I hope to have some more painted pictures up later this week.

that looks nice, though the cyborg heads sticking out seems a bit silly.
Might be too small for battlesuit replacement though

That is a very interesting idea. Or even make a Gun or Combat Servitor from it

Wow! Great review dude. I'd like to see better size pictures of all the bits. Right now we just see one side of a few of the parts, but I'd love to see both sides and in a bit larger pic size. I'm very tempted to order some kits for jazzing up my orks and making some sweet looking cyborks. I really want that twin linked gun to use on my Nazdreg conversion Please keep this style of review coming! But I think it would be greatly enhanced by the inclusion of bigger pictures that show both sides of all the parts. Thanks again for posting this here!

Well with the Upgrade Pack you get your choice of three. And the Robot head can be used with the side vanes up as if they were antennas or to the front as if they were mandibles.

That would be a damn good idea. Take a saw and cut the legs off and then use some green stuff to connect the legs to a Nob or Warlord body. I have to repost the article at some point once the other painted versions of the Droid get back from the painter so I'll grab some other pictures and perhaps post them on Flickr.

Just a note: I got a warning from Symantec Antivirus when I accessed the link; a Downloader virus was detected and erased.
I'm not blaming tabletopgamingnews, but the site might not be safe at the moment due to infection/ nasty cough.

I really wish I knew what was causing this. Its really getting to be a PITA
Its a false positive. There are no viruses or trojans on the site. Its been scanned numerous times and the only thing I can think of is that the site is reacting to the JS code we use to display images.
The site is fine. Your anti-virus software is getting itself into knots because it overreacts to any code that includes links to external media.
Its a *huge* PITA at the moment and I really wish that virus software manufacturers had some way for people who ran websites to ask them why in hell their software is doing this.
Unfortunately I am operating in the blank and have to deal with this issue on a daily basis.

Indeed- I feel for you guys. But hey TTGN is easily my most frequently visited site (except for dakka) right now and I'm fine with my current set up. Then again I'm just using Zone Alarm...

I've emailed the developers of the JS image display code we use to see if they know of what is going on but aside from that I have nothing to offer people unfortunately. Every AV software reports something different and it will really peeved me off if I have to remove the JS code we are using simply to stop these reports. Why its necessary for AV software to over-react to these sorts of situations is beyond me.

Actually if you look at your report it will most likely say that the error originates in a file in your Temporary Internet Files folder and it will also most likely say that it can't fix the issue or is quarantining the file.
These reports all seem to be from cached content and I have yet to see any report that says that there was a virus removed from the file.

Anyone getting virus reports when viewing TGN may want to run an adware scan of their system.
I have received a report from one user that leads me to believe that they may have the Onflow adware application on their system.
This is an application that is "bundled" with some P2P apps that attempts to load ads and other content in your browser.
This is, again, something that would have been bundled in some other application that was installed on your machine
