hahaahaha, well there is that problem too. I don't know, I'd give it to you, to me the fluff is what I would look to on this one. (admittedly the LAST source you look to for a rules justification) The terminator armor is thousands of years old in EVERY
SM chapter, and each one of those suits has teleport abilities for the loyalists. Assuming no real change in terminator armor for
CSM's, it is reasonable to assume they as well have teleporting powers. The generality of the
SM terminator
FAQ i don't think can apply to
CSM terminator armor. Again though, it just seems logical that the
CSM terminator armor also has teleportation abilities equal to the
SM (absent the whole homers issue).
Your opponent can give you three options for the ruling
1: allow you to make the roll regardless of the mission assuming the logic i put above (Sheer grace or fluff justifications), or the
RAW for the
SM faq transporting to the
CSM terminator armor (getting dangerous to homers now)
2:
d6 it
3: State that the rules do not implicitly grant you the ability to
DS absent the mission being played, thus you have to
DS only when the mission permits.
As for
CSM's using Loyalist teleport homers, thats just absurd rules corruption, one which should be avoided at all times, like scurvy
