JOTUM loses "Mountain Terrain"?

Sure, in reality it probably never factored in often, but Fluff-wise - sad!

Infinity sure has lots of terrain types for a game almost always fought in an urban sci-fi setting...

How many times has someone used a cutter in the water?

Is that a natural 21?

It's happened in my gaming group by now, I think. Deflatermouse has built a new terrain set with lots of water, and I would be seriously surprised if no one has Cutterized it by now.

I'm hoping heavy TO TAGs get more expensive before they are stuck into sectorials, as the current setup outside vanilla could be broken.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Not water, but I like Paradiso based ruins reclaimed by the Jungle.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

I suspect all the terrain abilities are going to be either removed totally, or you get 'Multiterrain', which is just a catch all. Since very few units had relevant single terrain type skills.

It's a good change. May make Terrain types more playable, since 'Aquatic, Jungle, Mountain and Zero G' are crazy specialized except for perhaps jungle.

(but what happens then if you have a River on a Jungly Mountain in a low gravity planet?

I'm thinking that the renders and concept art we saw from Inter-planetary are going to be the August releases.

Definitely getting this guy ASAP. Damned CB will have me in the poor house this month.

Assuming he's not different in N3 it will be sooooooooooooo nice to have a unit with smoke, especially a smoke LGL

Shinobu + Saito are nice & all... However Yojimbo costs significantly less & he's on a friggin bike to boot.

I wish he had a name (Kuwabatake Sanjuro). He's AVA 1; ought to be a personality as well.
I understand he's supposed to be enigmatic & all, but even super ninja Shinobu Kitsune isn't supposed to exist:

"Shinobu Kitsune is not real; he is no more than a smokescreen, a false name"

Is that a natural 21?

Trauma Doc will probably end up in a limited blister. Like Bolts and Santiago. Hope they don't mess up the pose that's the only thing I'm not keen with the old one (concept art in the spoiler for reminder).

I'd be disappointed if the only new PanO release for 3 months was a Trauma Doc.

Or at least I would be until I remembered Icestorm was a month away.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

No, not the Trauma Doc. I think. The way they presented her for at the end of the seminar for me meant she's still sometime ahead.

The Dog Warriors also seemed like they were further off, they didn't present any sculpts for the human forms yet, which made me think they were not yet done with them.

I saw some molds ready to go to casting at CB HQ, and there was something there that is not on your list. So expect the unexpected, I guess

Oh, and during the seminar, when Bostria wanted to show some photos in one of the folders on the USB Drive, it turned out it was empty. We couldn't make out what they were supposed to be, though., because the screen was too small. Maybe it was Thamyris, maybe something completely new.

I'm genuinely excited about this release. Like, waiting for Mass Effect 2 levels of excited.

The Icestorm week on Beasts of War has been fanning the flames too.

The videos made the ruleset feel very accessible and as I mentioned elsewhere I really think I can get 'normal' people to play this now.

Carlos from CB seems a top bloke with a great laugh.

I feel the present Traumadoc is the most misunderstood model of the line, such dynamism and in tune with the fluff that people miss it.

Her glove has essentially a strobe light (also probably a landing beacon too) on the palm, she is signaling for casevac.

The again now we will have (eventually) the New Trauma doc, a beautiful blond with Breads, Yes she is a Valkyrie alright.

"Hi soldier Ill take you straight to Valhala! " (seems fitting with their battlefield performance).

Such is life in Soviet PanOceania.

The concept art is also ditching the antenna, which is nice but yahtzee for new players is going to be not mistaking her arm for a piece of needless tin. Had a lot of fun with that one.

for once i totaly agree with you the trauma doc is a cool mini, they have ton of bad old stuff to resculpt (dronbot, aquila, auxilia), why the traumadoc ?

Anyway no one use a traumadoc so I made mine more ... agressive xD

You guys are talking about old PanO sculpts that need to be redone, but you're forgetting about one of the worst offenders: The Guarda De Assalto. I'd say he needs to be redone way before the Trauma Doc does. Weird proportions abound on that guy, not to mention that awkward running pose and the generally mushy details.

I still find it strange that they're redesigning the Hac Tao though. Of all the Yu Jing units to get a redesign, why him? He already received a slight redesign with the HMG model. Why not redo the Invincibles?

if anything, for PanO I definitely hoped the Machinist would be redone (can't stand the silly 'wrench' model - "oh here you go, here's my wrench.. you fix it! k bye")

Funny, the dronbots, auxbots and Guarda de Assaulto (along with palbots - I'm sort of weird ) are what got me to take a hard look at infinity only a year and a half ago. I honestly do not see what is wrong with any of those models, I love them precisely as they are.
(although TBH having to get another 8 dronbots to field the new look to ava might make for a fun painting project... I'm game )

I keep getting confused with the Zuyong Invinvibles. I see them labeled as that sometimes, and then as Terra Cotta Soldiers the other times. Same unit right?
