I had thought we decided that villages and strongholds could not be "claimed," that they were available for all users. Has this changed?

Yay! first branch half doneish on the Elf tree, as well as some buildings (timber yard and cows are us, and maybe even wheat)
and a safety pool, no more people/elves/dwarves/etc falling of the stair case to their death.

Lolman, I have had that happen to me. Glitched sideways and ended up in lava.

Yes its pretty much that. I lost all my weapons, armour and food because of that damn bug.

I just use MCpatcher, simple enough though doesn't fix up the memory thing Abso mentioned. Though even without that increased I've run into no issues with it, but I suspect it would make it run smoother. The real pain was getting MC to run in 64 bit Java instead of the normal 32 bit one.

I glitched earlier and managed to fall into lava in the Nether.

I miss my precious crap so much...

I lost diamond weapons and armour from the glitches, but its okay. I got a better weapon. oh and I just got a free enchanted bow. +1 power.
