I'm not sure if I am remembering this correctly......when you move, or stop a move, is there a zone of control around a model? That is, during your movement, you cannot pass within an inch of an enemy model/vehicle?

I was thinking of the Tau tactic where you unload behind a devilfish and fire, and the enemy has to move around the vehicle to assault.

so if you had 2.5 inches between rhinoes or drop pods, the enemy could not move between them, but you could?

Thanks

From what I understand, that is correct. Hence the reason for 2.5"

You are correct.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
