Does a Daemon weapon (e.g. Dark Blade) count towards your character's limit for Demonic Gifts?

My codex says no, but It's an older edition, and it came up the other day.

According to the CSM FAQ, demon weapons DO count towards your characters limit for demonic gifts.

Check page 14 (the Armoury). Note the paragraph under the Daemon Weapons heading.

Yes, Daemon Weapons count as Daemonic Gifts. Gifts of the Gods are in the same boat, though this is only included in later printings.
