Howdy ya'll, I'm going to start an Orc and gobbo army mainly because I love the random quality they have

Want i want to do is have an infantry heavy list with screening minimum sized NG units with fanatics and maybe 1 or 2 squig herds, with a dash of magic.

Is the battalion set a good place to start? Are there any online stores that ya'll frequent that have good deals?

Thanks for the help,

It's not a bad place to start. In fact, two bat. boxes would give you a good basic army, except that you probably won't want 20 spider riders. (You'll want wolf riders too). Chariots are good additions to infantry lists.

As for shopping, TheWarstore.com is frequented by many.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
