Drop Trooper with Demo Charge

Got the Eldar Codex on Saturday and am thinking about starting an army since both the rules and the models are so hott.  Here's a list I've been playing around with.
HQ
Farseer - Singing Spear, Jetbike, Doom, Guide - 133
Elites
6 X Fire Warriors (in Falcon) - 96
6 X Fire Warriors (In Falcon) - 96
Troops
3 X Jetbikes - Shuriken Cannon, Warlock, Singing Spear, Embolden - 129
3 X Jetbikes - Shuriken Cannon, Warlock, Singing Spear, Embolden - 129
Heavy Support
Falcon - Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines, Spirit Stones - 170
Falcon - Scatter Laser, Shuriken Cannon, Vectored Engines, Spirit Stones - 170
Wraithlord - Bright Lance, Missile Launcher - 155
1078
I'm aiming for 1500 points so obviously i've got about 400 to play with.  At the moment it's a toss up between a bunch of Harlequins (poss. in Wave Serpent(s) ) for counter-assault, or a bunch of Warp Spiders for more anti-infantry
I haven't done any playtesting yet as I want a list sorted before I start buying any models, but in theory what do you reckon?
Thanks

Harlies cannot be bought Serpents. They can mount up in a Falcon, but that's it.
They generally will move fast enough and through cover that they won't need a transport as much, and would better be served as counter-assualt units as concentrated fire will eliminate them, which would happen if they rush up to the enemy.

Spiders seem like a good choice.

Think about giving Spirit Stones yo your Farseer. 2 powers a turn is mighty nice.

Fire dragons would probably be more effective in this army than fire warriors

I still think that cookie cutter units of fire dragons in a falcon isn't enough to carry an army. They shoot once, then they die. There's no follow-up.

This army could work just fine, he's got 300 pts+ to spend still.

Just need holofields.

If what you want to do is win big, get another squad of snakes with those points, and get rid of the wraithlord. He's unnecessary, and in this list his name should be VPlord, because he'll be 155 vps the opponent gets every time.

The thing with the fds is you need to not expend them until way late in the game. They should stay on the falcon until Turn 4-5 at least, unless you can be sure they won't be obliterated after being used. Against most mobile armies you hardly ever need to use them until you are mopping up the end of the game.

VPlord, heh. That's a good one.

It really is kinda cool that mech eldar can now actually work. Though I wonder if this list has enough fire power to do the job? I am not sold on the fire dragons. I doubt they have the defensive strength to survive an attack of any sort.

I wonder how much a walking farseer/harlie group would cost?
