Two things came up last night while I was playing my necrons I was curious about. First, since the new eldar codex came out, one eldar player insists wraithguard can instant kill Ctan. His logic is, the Ctan is a monsterous creature. They could not instant kill them in 3rd edition hence the rule made it into the Necron codex. Now they can instant kill monsterous creatures and the Ctan is no exception. On the other hand, I read it as not being in there for a monsterous creature. The Ctan is larger and different than just a large monster and thus is still immune. If he was right, wouldnt it make sense to have "cannot be instant killed by wraithguard"? The second is simply about the guass arc flux. When it says D6 shots at every target is it roll 1d6 and that is how many shots all target take, or do I roll d6 shots for every unit in range?

Orkses is never beated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die so it don't count as beat. If we runs for it we don't die neither, so we can always come back for anuvver go, see!

The C'tan's rules still aplly. He takes a wound with no save. As for the arc you foll a D6 for every unit individualy, not one die and apply it to all.

As far as the C'tan question, it is explained on page 27 of the Necron Codex under Necrodermis, its the second paragraph. If the wraithcannon inflicts Instant Death, he is denied his invuln save against the shot but he only loses a wound. He is not instant killed by it.
Darkness is correct about the Arc weapon, see how many units are in range of the weapon, and roll out D6 attacks for each of them.

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"

Thanks. I thought that this was the case for both, but since there was a dispute I thought I'd post and ask.

My advise is give your mate a SLAP but then I always say that when I have no idea of a rule. If in doubt give the opponent a slap.
