Here is a link I took stills for.  My friend and I went to Chicago from Milwaukee.  We got there early we were the 2nd and 3rd players registered.   Some tables were so filled that the opposing sides were nose to nose at the start.   On my table my armored company of 27 vehicles was facing a formidle force of tanks and 4 warhound titans.  After 5 complete turns, I had 2 leman russ left  and racked up 20 kills.  I did not have the first turn either.  There were 2 people that each had 98 kills and they duked it out for the baneblade.  If there are any questions just let me know , Id be happy to go into more detail.

Dude, that looked insane. I don't even know where to begin with that. Just when you thought two Armored Companies duking it out was a lot of vehicles, this puts it all to shame. Shame I don't live anywhere near a Battle Bunker.

Thanks for the link.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

The 2 finalists were on tables that were wall to wall vehicles.  After all units were deployed there was about 4 inches separating the 2 sides.   If you watch the clip youll see the ork gargant, on that table the gargant didnt get the first turn.  The guy who brought the gargant had 200 vehicles total and had 130 killed before he got to shoot anything.  It makes my opponent and his 4 titans seem pretty easy.

Oh my...I don't know to laugh or cry

I heart SYR 8766

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Asmodai (my new hero)

At some point these sorts of decision-making skills lump you into the same camp as the Lehman Brothers, the White Star Line shipping company, and mothers who smoke during pregnancy.

Ahh! So many super heavies.

I do have one question though:

Where did you get the music?

I know it's from Chaos Gate, but where did you get it? PM me please!

It wasn't like that...  in order to help break the record, I was loaned many many vehicles from many different sources who were unable to personally attend the event.   Only the gargant and ork vehicles were mine, and without any upgrades being allowed, my buggies and trukks died ridiculously fast.

Dammit. I have been waiting days to watch this video, and everytime I remember to check, youtube is having scheduled downtime.

Anger.

That entire video, from start to finish, just reminds me why I never have an inclination to go to any GW store, Games Day or any other GW event.

It's almost enough to make me want to quit the hobby. Sheesh.

Ironically, they do. So do cheats.

They had to allow unpainted I notice of they would have come no where near close enough to beating the record.
