Gameplan:

- During deployment Eldrad messes with the opponents positioning by redeploying (Falcons) as necessary.

- First turn Spears get fortuned and boost ahead (so they get a better then 2+ invulnerable save), accompanied by 3 Falcons moving 36" each. Guardians and Eldrad move 6" (ahead) if neccessary. Guardians (primarily to justify Eldrad ) target a Vehicle that Eldrad just spinned around with Eldrich Storm.

- Second turn Guardians and Falcons do fire support. Fire Dragons burn something and take cover behind the arising close combat of Harlequins and Spears against doomed targets.

- Later on: Falcons take objectives.

What daya think?

I am thinking of using something similar, as Eldrad is expensive, but if you kit out a farseer its going to cost more and not get the divination rule or be as effective.

I dont want to comment on effectiveness though as I want to watch this in action.

Yep that was my thinking too. Heres a little upgrade. I thought about including an Autarch to get improved reserve roles in Escalation and found that hes strong enough to improve the list even in normal games.

So Autarch goes in and joins the Spears, while Spears and Guardians get reduced in numbers to free the points. I liked  to get the opportnity to let the Autarch solo if necessary, as well as the lower number of Spears that is propably easier to hide during deployment.
