Since my friend is convinced I always bring a tournament army, I figured I should show him what a real tournament army looks like...Granted, I don't have all the models I need yet

Only thing I am concerned about is only having one (Abeit strength 9 on the charge) power fist.

Both your Lt.s are illegal, they cost too many points. As far as I'm aware, non-sorcerer Lts. can cost a maximum 120 points, yours (by my reckoning) cost 137 each.

Keep in mind that weapons - as well as marks & vet skills, right? - don't come out of the 75 point wargear allotment, so his twin speed lt.s look fine to me.

Besides being a little bland with min las/plas squads, list looks pretty solid.  I'd like to see the 6-man plas/plas squad go up to 8 and get a powerfist AC, but stretching to cut those points somewhere isn't completely needed.  Not a fan of Raptors myself, but their super-mobile 'fist will get the job done ...

I usually run 3 8 man las/plas squads with fist. True tactical sqaud (And very fitting with the Alpha Legion tactical doctrine).

I splattered my friend's Eldar with my Alpha Legion, so he was whining about me always bringing a tournament list. I was trying to explain to him why my list ISN'T an actual tournament list, rather more of a fun list.

Depends how experienced the Nid player. Inexperienced nid players can fall for the old trick of assaulting an isolated unit rather than ignoring it. It's a nice trick if you can get it to work.

Well, didn't help that last time we played, I challenged him to a 4000 point megabattle...Gamma Cleanse. He knew I was bringing my Alpha Legion.

I get there, he has his 'nids and wants to play a cityfight random mission...That annoyed me.
