Eldrad's Divination ability can be very clutch. If folks aren't too aware of how it works, you can bait them with juicy Heavy Support targets, then move them. It's almost like getting Infiltrate for your tanks- IE allows you to set up after your opponent sets up his entire army. Even experience opponents will have to react somewhat to your initial set up as you don't have to reposition any of your units. This ability also is your own, uh-oh I screwed my deployment, fix it before the game begins.
Now, having said all that, I don't think Eldrad will benefit the Dragons by using Eldritch Storm. Their weapons alone should be enough so rear armor shouldn't even be a factor. I do agree w/ Longshot that Guide and Doom are a bit wasted on him as you don't have some big shooting units to go after infantry with. The Falcon is there with lots of shots, but it looks to be designed to deliver Harlequins and leave Eldrad long behind. So, it is a bit expensive to use him mainly for the Divination ability.
Using Spiders to deliver an Autarch into assault just to get the Withdraw ability seems wasted. The Autarch's hits on his own aren't enough, and there are no other heavy hitters in the squad to assist. This is why folks like the Shining Spears w/ Autarch combo. The only way I really see this working is simply assaulting simultaneous w/ the Harlies and Warp Spider/Autarch.
One other, less tangent factor. When folks see the unusual attachment of a bike IC and Jump troops (who jump in and out of the warp, fluff), they are going to start to wonder what loop holes you went looking for. While perfectly legal to do, it may get the ire of your opponents early in the game.
If you run the list, let us know how you fare. Good luck.
