That thing is a beast! It looks awesome.

Loving the camo and the orange helm lenses. Not so sure about the flying baneblade. There's an earlier pic before the wings but with the thrusters attached, at that point I think you should have attached tracks and had a hot rod baneblade.

Would have if didn't run air cav.

As for everyone who wonders at the cost forthe bane blade on stick it was a 100 dollars. 20 for modeling material and 80 for a new bane blade off eBay and I traded for the old busted valkyrie that went into.



Also air calv took first at a local tourny! I had the least amount of victory points but pulled a win 3 times in a row.
It was a 3000 apoc tourny I brought the bane blade on a stick and 9 valks and 60 vets and creed command squad. I fought vanilla marines with 13 las cannons and that land raider with 5 las cannons. I won with two objectives to none but 1670 kill points in my favor against my post of 1890.

Round two I fought ground guard with 4 len russes 1 auto cannon type two battle cannon an 1 demo cannon plus organs with yarik and iron hand striken and 3 chimeras and some heavy weapons teams. He was a slow player and trying to take care of a baby at the same time. We ended on turn two with a clear victory in my favor.



Round 3 I fought a deamons list 2hearalds one was skull taker with a8 crusher squad 15 plague dudes 10 pink horrors 20 demenattes 20 blood letters and a 999pt big bird we called it with toughness 8 and a 3++. Needless to say ignored it killed everything else and won with 9 kill PTs to 6.

And the rough riders and some tau thing i made that i will most likely run as a sential. Fluff behind the rough riders!

They come from Pheobia a simple agri world. Since the world lacks sufficent material to wage war, by any means on it owns it adds to the dominion with some of the most fierce calvary. The people of Pheobia had a long folk tail of some enchanted cup, that should any warrior drink from it, his horse would grow wings, and he would become immortal. Of course with the tale their is a test to get the cup where the warrior, or warriors, would face the most disgusting and hideous monster in all of the legends. The beast has ears that could hear you coming from a nation away, and fangs that take your head clean off. Due to Pheobia's old way of seeing things they call the calvary units knights, and such and even wear old styled full plate steel armor. Although this armor offers limited protection, and is bulky, and hard to use compaired to mondern means; it has never affected the knights ability in combat. The knights of Pheobia, are just as agressive in a bar as they are in combat, and love a good old fashion laugh, the most classic is clapping to bowl haves to make horse sounds as they parade around drunk and foolishly singing folk tails. Every regiement of Volra loves to have them and hates them at the same time.
