I like the torsos, any chance you'll be offering them separately?

As soon as I'm able too yes Lord Castellan, just need to recoup the investment made in the bikes first so the next couple of projects can go for casting.

Frank&Stein, short answer yes, I do plan on offering the torso's separately in the future, no time scale as yet though.

I checked out your site and saw you are offering the bikers as single models or five packs. Any chance of three of them for about £28? Five is just a few too many and a small discount for three of them would be nice!

somehow the posing of the hands on the handlebars looks strange... as if the hands only lay on the bars but not grip them...? or am i imagine things here?

Viktor, I'll see what I can do about those pictures.

To address your point, the hands are indeed a lose fit which by all accounts rest on the handlebars rather then properly gripping them. This is essentially to make it easier to assemble them, it means you have a certain amount of flexibility without requiring a precise fit, making it much easier if you wanted to use an alternative torso say. It also makes it easier to assemble and paint the rider and bike separately, before joining the two together.

However, that said you could achieve a tighter fit then that illustrated with careful assembly and a little manipulation, something which I'll probably be able to illustrate better when I assembly a unit for myself rather then just a quick painted test model.

Now that all said, the only way I can see of getting a proper gripping hand would be to actually sculpt the hands directly to the handlebars, with wrist stumps or the full arm connected. If thats what people would favour then thats certainly something I could do if there was demand, and its definitely planned to add further extras for the bike as I've mentioned previously, including lances Jehan-reznor

hmmm.... i think my conscience wouldn´t be able to cope with handstumps on handlebars your description is quite understandable... i am always a fan of good looking arms than "loose" hands... so i retreat my case...

The Kickstarter is now live for the 28mm Anti-Tank Lasercannon, and the 28mm Heavy Weapons Carriage.

We've set ourselves the goal of £600 to get these items into production, as previously mentioned both are highly detailed kits by Kit Burrows of Zinge Industry, which will be cast in high quality resin.

Should we surpass our initial funding goal, and reach our stretch goals, we'll start to unlock a number of alternative weapons, the first of which is the Gatling Cannon. Anyone who backs the project with complete Anti-Tank Lasercannons will also receive any of the unlocked weapons.

It's all over to you guys now, if you'd like to see this put into production, or more to the point want to add one more of the complete Anti-Tank Lasers, or just the carriages to your collection, please pledge your support, no matter how much. Just as important though, if you know someone who might be interested in the project, please share it with them.

Orlando & Megatron, thanks very much for your backing!

Viktor, unfortunately its a limitation of Kickstarter for UK projects, irritating as the US version allows you to use Amazon Checkout as well from what I understand. The only way around it that I could suggest would be either the Paypal Debit Card if you use Paypal, which of course acts like a Debit card for your Paypal account if you have one, or alternatively one of the pre-paid credit cards you can get, though I've little knowledge of those. Don't feel compelled to knock yourself out over this though, while support is apreciated, as I've mentioned spreading the news about the project is just as valuable in alot of ways, and I know you in particular have alot of fans for your own steampunk army project who might be interested in the kits!

Anyway, I woke up this morning to some amazing news, the Kickstarter has in the space of little over 12 hours surpassed it's funding goal, reaching 116% Funding as I write this. To say I'm chuffed and slightly stunned would be an understatement, but I think it speaks volumes about the quality of the work by Kit Burrows from Zinge Industry.

Of course now we're looking towards the first stretch goal, this stands at £900 to unlock the first alternative weapon, a Gatling Cannon, expect an update on this ASAP. Remember, backing us with complete Anti-Tank Lasercannon kits will also receive one of each of the unlock alternative weapons for their guns.

Thank you to everyone for your support so far, the extent of this project remains in your hands, if you'd like to see even more options for this kit as it heads production, or more to the point, if you'd like to get your hands on any of it, pledge your support on our Kickstarter page.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/649754189/28mm-steampunk-inspired-heavy-weapons-and-carriage

Any pledge, no matter the size brings us a step closer to putting this into production. However, just as important as before though is getting the word out, so please, share this on your blog, through twitter, forum or just with local gamers how might be interested!

Once again, thank you!

Thankyou Viktor, very much appreciated! I agree whole heartedly, Kit is an excellent partner to work with on a project, and I very much hope this won't be the last time. A number of our backers have asked about Heavy Artillery, suffice to say I'm keen to obliege!

Anyway, I'm staggered to report, we're coming towards the end of day three of our Kickstarter, with 27 still to go, and we've smashed our initial funding goal reaching over 250% funding, thats nearly £1600!

Thats the Gatling Cannon unlocked, the Autocannon unlocked and the Artillery Crew unlocked, and we're only a little over £100 short of the last of our initial stretch goals for the Tesla Cannon and Rocket Launcher! The pace with which the funding has come in has absolutely amazed me, and left us chasing our own stretch goals to catch up.

We'll be posting updates on all our stretch goals as soon as possible now, and hope to add some new ones shortly!

On that note, we're very much open to suggestions on further alternative Heavy Weapons options - what would you like to see?

BrookM, Mortars are on the list, I'm just discussing how best to implement that, a multi-barrel mortar... how does a Gatling Mortar sound?

Bolognesus, blimey, yes, and that shows just how quickly its going up! The last of the initial stretch goals is surpassed, new stretch goals will appear tomorrow!

Viktor, oh yes, Tesla weaponry! The Rocket Launcher planned is a basic single launcher rocket rail, but a Nebelwerfer has been suggested as another stretch.

Orlando, dont worry, I've kept an eye on costs, that said, future stretches will be a little more spaced out to allow for additional manufacturing costs given the quantities we're looking at now!
