Ok I just have to adress this.
Cthulhu is not from Magic, that was a fanmade render. Cthulhu is from H.P Lovecrafts classic horror stories and was first mentioned in a book in 1928. In these stories he is more or less a god, or at least an extremely powerful cosmic entity along with about a dozen other beings like him, and they form a sort of pantheon. For more information, read here.
Sorry about the offtopic but H.P Lovecraft is too good to be lost in the cultural entropy of today.
