A local player has a really sweet Thousand Sons army, and he does incredibly well with it most of the time. I play Tzeentch in fantasy, and now I'm starting to feel the draw in
40k. I was originally going to do Word Bearers for my next
40k army, but I've recently just painted two armies that are mostly red (my Warmachine Menoth army, and my
IG army), and my Lizardmen will also have alot of red on them. So Thousand Sons are incredibly appealing right now.
The player around here uses mostly just rhino based squads with hidden powerfists, and a tooled up daemon prince. I don't want to copy his list, so I've tried to come up with something original. Let me know what you all think!

The Chosen of Ahriman each join one of the four units. (see below)
As a quick note, we have a house rule that allows
ICs to attach to squads off table in drop pods/dreadclaws, and rolled for as one unit. I kind of want to only do a power armor army, and avoid terminators, and tanks/defilers.
I checked in the codex, and in the
FAQ, and couldn't find anything about Thralls taking space in transports. The entry for the Chaos Hound specifically says they take space, but the Thrall Wizard entry does not, nor does the
FAQ. Army Builder also does not give any errors when taking, say, 8 sons, an aspiring champion, and 4 thralls (total of 13) in a dreadclaw, but does give an error when replacing the thralls with hounds. Is there a newer Chaos codex printing that addresses this?
With a total of 72 wounds, and 4 S8 weapons that can be fired multiple times if needed, I think I might have enough firepower and wounds to withstand the initial landing? If they end up assaulting me, I am fine with that.. I am Fearless, and they will likely never outnumber me, and they get beatdown by my
HQ, and my hidden powerfists.
My biggest problem would be armored company, but that is true for any thousand sons list I think
So, any advice or thoughts?
An army with two wounds has alot going for it, afterall...
