Dives with Horses

I think it would be great to bring back the rule from 3rd ed that any vehicle in cover automatically got glancing instead of penetrating hits, it would negate the huge advantage that skimmers have over tracked vehicles/walkers.

Drano doesn't exactly scream "toy" to me.

I would also be ok with a 4+ obscured save that negated the entire hit.  Nothing sucks more than having some teeny little piece of your tank sticking out, getting hit by a krak missile, failing the 4+ save and having the tank be destroyed.  It is really, really stupid.

I think that would swing the pendulum too far the other way, it would just make it too hard to kill tanks ALL vehicles (skimmers also get 4+ obscured they just really rarely need it)

I still think that a better way to achieve balance would be to make the 'skimmers moving fast' rule only apply on a 4+ or 3+, and to remove the 'vehicle destroyed' from the glancing table. Vehicles could still get destroyed eventually by glancing hits, after all weapons were destroyed and it was immobilized.

I've got another idea, but I'll post it in a new thread.
